That took a moment to all sink in. We are the only people on earth that have these powers. There is an evil sorcerer who wants to kill us. This Kyle dude seems to have known me forever and knows that I have powers. I have powers. That's the hardest part to believe.
"Cameron," Kyle said. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." I said. "That's just a lot to take in all in one night. I should get going back to the house."
"Okay," he said "I'll walk you."
"No!" I said a little to quickly. "No. I'm good. I just need some time to myself to think."

That night, I was lying in my bed string at the ceiling thinking about what had just happened today.
When I got back the house, my gramma was worried sick about me. When she asked where I was I just pushed her away and headed up to bed.
I could feel my eyelids growing heavy as I fought to stay awake. I didn't want to go to sleep. If I did, I was afraid that I would have nightmares of the sorcerer that Kyle talked about.
My eyelids were growing heavier my the second. I couldn't fight it off anymore so I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
