AN//. Hello everyone I am so sorry for the big space between chapters I began my second semester in college and I am finally comfortable enough to begin writing so lets get it moving again shall we?

A few months or so went by with constant training for Koda he began to look more toned as he shaped into the man he was destined to become.

"Remember Koda, quick strikes with added signs to add to your arsenal." Myers spoke as he stood back watching Koda approach the test dummies set up for training.

"Got it." With a quick smirk Koda dashed towards the dummies with a combination of attacks. with every hit he landed the effect of his new gloves became evident as pits were left in the dummies.

"Alright now step back and sign." Myers barked.

With a quick dash back Koda began moving his hands in the air signing in an array of symbols.

"Arcane torrent." Koda shouted and in both of his palms fluctuated spheres of pure energy. He took aim and in one quick motion threw the orbs of energy connecting with the last two remaining dummies. They exploded on impact throwing dust and dirt into the air.

"What in the hell is going on?!" groaned Pikel who had apparently just awaken from his ever lasting slumber.

"Just some early morning practice your highness." Myers bowed in a mocking manner. Pikel did not seem in the least bit amused.

" Not sure why your not practicing Pikel your not in exactly fighting shape." laughed Koda.

" Listen here you little brat iv ended more lives than stars in the sky!" Pikel was fuming.

" The kid has a point Pikel you have seemed a bit lazy lately." Myers added with a hint of concern in his voice.

Pikel was outraged. " Ill show both of you just who the fuck your talking to!" He stormed off leaving Myers and Koda confused. Just before they could question his sanity Pikel reappeared with his bow and quiver looking beside himself.

"Koda pick up the smallest rock you can find and toss it in the air."

Koda looked confused but didn't see reason to argue with him. After a few seconds of searching Koda picked up a rock he believed to be appropriate for the challenge. After Pikel saw the rock he nodded and then faced away from everyone and took a deep breath.

" You ready kid?" Asked Pikel sounding very calm.

Koda looked at Myers for confirmation and after a quick nod he chunked the rock into the air. With the blink of an eye Pikel spun around with his bow drawn and let an arrow fly connecting with the rock dead center splitting it into two pieces. in another half second he fired two more shots catching the two split pieces pinning them to a tree.

Koda's face was one of disbelief. He sprinted to the tree to inspect the arrows and just as it appeared the two pebbles were pinned to the tree by just the point of the arrow.

"Now does anyone dare doubt me?!" Pikel shouted holding his hands in the air in triumph.

"You are truly talented friend." Myers stated..." For a lazy dwarf."

"Ill end you next!!" Pikel shouted as he fired an arrow near Myers.

Astonishingly Myers reached out and caught the arrow and gently tossed it back to Pikel.

" Your aim was a little off it seems." Myers smirked and began walking away.

"I meant to miss you idiot!!" shouted Pikel but it was already clear Myers had won the argument.

The day burned on with nothing going on but simple exercises to bide everyone's time. Myers sat back with Pikel and watched as Koda lifted logs and ran in place while hoisting them above his head.

"Koda's power really is something huh?" asked Pikel.

"He is different that is for sure, with the right amount of training the three of us will free this land of its shackles."

"What of his brother?" "Will he join in the battle once he is saved or do we chance bringing in someone like him after all this time in the corrosive mines?"

" If his brother is out there then we will openly allow him to join our ranks Koda wont allow it any other way."" Chances are he is just as powerful as Koda if not more."

" But what if the mines changed him there are proven instances of people who completely lose all grasp on reality once being down there for such an allotted time." Pikel seemed a bit worried.

" That is a chance we have to take, we promised Koda to do anything in our power to save his brother in return he helps save the land we call home." " I believe it is all a fair trade off."

Koda noticed the two talking intently and dropped his logs with a huge relief to his muscles and began walking towards them.

" Everything okay?" Koda asked confused why they were whispering.

" Of course everything is okay Koda, just talking about how impressive it is that you have grown so much in such a short time." Myers spoke quickly to cover the tracks of their rather secretive conversation.

"Yea kid everything is alright now get back to training before I come back out there to show you up." Joked Pikel.

The next day a planned trip to the nearest town began coming into fruition.The team met up inside Myers tent after the morning meal to talk over routes and intentions.

" This route should get us straight to Lullin the town is not massive so finding are way around shouldn't be hard."Myers spoke as he ran his fingers over the map.

"I like your thinking and once we are there we buy supplies mend are clothes and weapons and if we are lucky find a lady of the night or two." Pikel spoke voice filled with bad intentions.

"Lets stick to the task at hand here you repulsive dwarf." hissed Koda.

before Pikel could begin his rant all over again Myers stepped in and interrupted the two.

" So its settled then, today we gather supplies and tomorrow at dawn we head for Lullin, All in agreement?"

Both Pikel and Koda stared each other down and nodded before storming off to begin packing for the road ahead.
