A Restless Night

The team left out early the following day much to the agony of Pikel who constantly complained as the journey began.

"I hate you Myers, I hate your entire being." whined Pikel while trying not to fall asleep while walking.

"Stop your crying we had to leave early if we still plan to make this trip in one day." Myers was obviously not dealing with Pikel at such an early time

Koda looked intently into the woods ahead of them his head in the clouds thinking of his life before this all happened. He can recall running around the house as a small child driving his mother crazy. He smiled then realized what happened to his mother, a tear rolled off his face but he quickly snapped out of it when Pikel spoke up.

"We better rest soon or this journey is about to become a lot more hostile!" Pikel was becoming a huge annoyance.

"Fine we will stop to eat but only for a minute." Myers spoke while observing the perimeter for any threats."

The trio sat down and enjoyed some berries and meat they packed for the trip. No one really spoke as the drowsiness of the morning still lingered.

After the break the group walked for hours on end with little conversation apart from Pikel's constant nagging. The sun began to fade and the journey wasn't over yet.

"Thanks to the constant stops we appear to be behind schedule looks like we wont be making it to town tonight I believe there is a inn in the area we can rest up for the next part of the trip tomorrow." Myers was understandably irritated at the fact Pikel's breaks caused the set back.

"Sounds like a plan I am beat." Smiled Pikel always happy to be lazy for a change.

After a moment or so of walking they came across the inn Myers spoke of right about the same time night fell. They all entered the inn to see it was crowded with people who seemed to be enjoying themselves a little too much. A bar was set up in the corner with everyone drinking and shouting random profanities. Myers noticed the main desk and went to book a room while Pikel was obviously intrigued by the women near the bar. Koda looked around and decided to go outside for a chance to be alone for a bit.

More flashes came to Koda as he walked through the trees. "Jordan" he whispered to himself as he thought of the unknown fate of his brother. Thoughts entered his head causing him to begin questioning his own sanity. 

|| "Hello ladies!" Pikel announced while hopping in a chair next to the random women.

"And who might you be." Asked the girl nearest Pikel. She was not impressed by what she saw.

" Well mam my name is Pikel I am sort of a legend around here." Pikel spoke with the most noticeable fake confidence. " I have slain giant beast, beat the unbeatable, and conquered the gods themselves."

" Oh really Mr. Pikel that is really impressive but I have just a hard time believing it." said the woman

" And why is that darling?" Pikel seemed nervous.

"Its hard to believe a dwarf like you could even take out a high hanging lantern." The group of women burst into laughter at the comment. Pikel on the other hand twitched and became red.

" I am no dwarf!" He shouted."Ill show you just what I can do!"Pikel's temper caught him once again as he looked in the room for the biggest guy there. After spotting him he walked up calmly to the massive man.

" Hey dumb fuck you looking for a fight?" Asked the man who appeared to be a giant, not only to Pikel,.

"Actually sir I am how about we take this outside."
