Koda's injuries kept him bedridden for almost six months as his ribs and his nose had been cracked in the brawl with Brokil. He begged day in day out to be allowed to begin training again but Myers insisted he not strain his body anymore then necessary. 

"Your not actually leaving me in charge of the kid are you?!?" Pikel inquired while following Myers into his tent.

"Yes, I am leaving to attempt to find some Intel on Tilus and his control over this land." Myers retorted as he packed belongings into a sack.

"Then we can all go as a group if it is dyer to our goal." Pikel was practically begging at this point. 

"This trip is way too dangerous for Koda, even if he was at full health which he is not, so we can not risk being ambushed when one of us is weak." " You will care to Koda and help in his training once he is fully recovered." 

Pikel attempted to continue the argument but Myers cut him off, " Pikel listen to me, he is not the same kid he once was you saw how he handled Brokil this is not baby sitting this is a request to just help him hone his skills so when I return with Intel we can prepare for the bigger issue at hand.

Pikel stared at the ground in thought for a few minutes before speaking, " Alright Ill stay here with him but now I want you to listen to me, I know you can handle yourself but if the Intel appears to be a set up or the problem is just out of hand I want you to backtrack until you are able to make it back here. Whoever is getting you this information must be wanted so don't take any risk that might get traced back to here we have too much work and info hidden around this camp if it is lost we lose any chance of stopping the chaos."

"Pikel my friend I know what to do in any situation possible, we can't all be as hard headed as you." Myers laughed at his little shot at Pikel

"One more joke and you wont have to worry about Tilus catching you i'll end you in a single breath!!" 

Myers merely laughed off the idle threat and grabbed his bag and headed out his tent. At the exit he cocked his head to the side and spoke. " Pikel, we are so close to saving the world we once loved but we need Koda by our side so watch him closely please."

Pikel glanced at Myers and nodded his head. Myers nodded in return and began walking toward his own adventure."

"Myers left me with the dwarf!" Koda shouted sitting up in his bed grabbing at his side.

"Kid I will slit your throat!, he left for a dangerous mission to learn more about Tilus so I am the best you got right now!" 

"Oh believe me I can take care of myself I don't need some lazy troll to play care taker for me." Koda stared down Pikel in an attempt to show just how serious he is.

Pikel met his gaze and with fire in his eyes spoke "Gear up and meet me outside now!" 

Koda looked confused but followed orders. Minutes later Koda climbed out the tent to see Pikel sitting nearby waiting. 

"Alright, now what?" Koda inquired still lost.

Pikel stood up and walked towards Koda and stopped a few feet away. "Attack me." Pikel said calmly.

Koda cocked his head at Pikel's statement "You must be joking around." 

"No I want you to attack me, and don't hold anything back." Pikel still hasn't moved he just stood there eyeing Koda.

"You must be ill, but since you insist I'll be more than happy to knock some of the delirium out your head." Koda smiled then rushed for Pikel.

Pikel did not flinch or even move as Koda got closer. Koda cocked back his left arm,with his gloves glowing from his energy, and aimed for Pikel's head.

Without a hitch Pikel smacked away Koda's fist and landed an elbow directly in Koda's gut. Instantly Koda fell and began dry heaving trying to catch his breath. Pikel smirked at Koda and spoke. "You done disrespecting me kid?"

Koda coughed and climbed to his feet. "caught me off guard but i'm far from done."

Koda rushed back in and faked a swing and attempted to sweep Pikel's legs out from under him. Pikel lifted one foot and stomped on Koda's ankle to hold him in place and used the other to send Koda sprawling with a kick to the jaw. 

This time Koda took longer to get to his feet but still didn't back down."Its going to take a lot more than some weak strikes to keep me down." Koda smiled but all you could see was the blood on his lip.

The fight went on deep into the afternoon with Koda not even managing to land a single hit. An uppercut from Pikel sent Koda flying but this time he didn't get back up. He was unconscious. Pikel only smiled and walked away leaving Koda to lay there and rethink his actions.
