Chapter 24: One Step Closer

Seulgi POV

I walked out of the building and started walking by the school gates. "Seul!"

I turn around and see Jimin ah, "Annyeong!" I smiled

"You okay from yesterday?" He asks

I nodded my head, "I'm fine"

"Okay good, I was worried that you would..." Jimin said, scratching his back of his neck

"Mwo? What were you worried about?" I asked

"Ah~ it's nothing" He said

"Jinjja?! Wahh~ sometimes you are very mysterious..." I said, smiling. "Anyways, I'm going to Appa's building. Again. Well, wish me luck"

"Arasseo. See you tomorrow" Jimin said, waving also

"Hopefully. Unless Eomma and Appa kills me because of my attitude" I said, "Bye!" I waved goodbye and left.

I walked into the conference room. When I walked in, I saw Appa, Eomma, Jaebum's Eomma and Appa already sitting down talking to eachother. "I'm I late?"

Eomma looks up at me, "Aniyo. You're just on time"

I then sat down in front of Eomma while his parents kept staring at me. "So, where's Jaebum?"

"Hm. He's coming soon. He's coming from practice" His mom said

I mumbled, "Where's this fat ass?"

15 minutes passed and he finally came. "Mianhe I'm late. Practice was ending late" he then sat next to his dad.

"Oh, Seulgi ah. Didn't you have dance practice too?" His dad asked

"Mwo?" I said, "I did have practice, but I had to cancel"

"Mhm. Jaebum ah, why didn't you do that then?" His mom said

"Practice was urgent" Jaebum said

"Now, who should we invite?" Appa asked 

"Well for my side, I want my closest friends. Such like the girls and a few people I'm close with" I said

"Um... Got7 for me" Jaebum said

"Oh! BTS-- well be sitting on my side" I said

The wedding planner sighed, probably regretting to ask this question, "So... Everything is set, I'm I correct?"

Everyone nodded.

"Okay um... So for the wedding that's coming up I'm just going to confirm it. It will be in the ballroom and just fancy and what not. I'm I correct?" She asks

"Ani. Mianhe, but I want it outside. What ever you heard or someone tells you, they are wrong. Just do the venue as before" I announced

"Oh... But, he changed it" She said

"It's okay. Just stick with the original plan" I said

"Okay" The wedding planner said, she wrote things down. "Alright, it's settled. There will not be any changes that can be made"

She left then all of them stared at me. "Why would you do that?"

"Yah! This is my wedding too. Even though I don't want to marry you, I mind as well make it rememberable" I snapped back

The next day...

I'm currently in the corridor at my locker until someone came up to me. "Sooo..."

I looked up, "Yah Wan-ah, what do you mean?"

"You know... About Jimin ah..." She said, wiggling her eyebrow

I frustratedly sighed, "Wan-ah, I told you, he doesn't like me" 

"Sure..." She said, "What are you going to do about the wedding?"

"Attend the wedding...?" I said slowly

"I mean, you don't need to do this Seul. Just cancel the wedding and... Go out with with Jimin and yeah. He treats you well"

"Ahaha, Waeyo? Just stop with all these things you say about Jimin! Yahh~ that's the only thing you say about. Me and Jimin. Any why are you saying all these things?"

"Ah Seul like I said, you're very ditzy" 

I frown, "Yah. You're crazy"

"Seul, don't you see what did for you? He treated you so well" Wendy said, "Why can't you see that??"

"You're talking nonsense. Anyways I need to get to class" I said, closing my locker door and about to leave until she stopped me.

"Yah, Kang Seulgi. How do you really feel about Jimin?" Wendy asks

I turned around, "Mwo? Like a friend? I don't think of him as more than a friend. He's been there for me a whole bunch of times... He's always been a friend to me, since when we were eight" 

"Yah~ that went deep..." She said

I softly laughed, "Yah, let's get to class. Kaja!"

Jimin POV

"I'm getting to class, we'll talk about it later" I said, waving goodbye to Taehyung and Jungkook 

I walked up the stairs to head to my next class. Yes! Last class of the day!

When I fully got up the stairs, I heard Wendy ah. Of course I got really curious and hid against the wall by the lockers.

"Yah Kang Seulgi. How do you really feel about Jimin?" Wendy asks

I widen my eyes and kept listening. 

"Mwo? Like a friend? I don't think of him as more than a friend. He's been there for me a whole bunch of times... He's always been a friend to me, since when we were eight" Seulgi confessed

"Yah~ that went deep" Wendy said

Seulgi laughed, "Yah, let's get to class. Kaja!"

They then left while I stood there not knowing what to do. 

Is this how she really felt? 

Now I know how it feels to be rejected... By my best friend...

That's the end of this chapter! To be honest, I was getting emotional and feeling bad for Jimin after reading the last part! PS, I can't wait for the ISAC 2017 to be aired on the 30th. Was it the 30th? I'm not sure to be totally honest. So much things are going through my mind at the moment! 😂
