Chapter Two

School was slow. Painful. Boring. Yet, it was not....terrible. At lunch time Mia and I hung out with Dani and her friends.

Lunch was hilarious . Aiden and Mason kept bickering over some football game that was on last night. Brianna, Lexie, and I kept talking about everything that we knew, and we kept teasing Mia and Drew because they kept obviously flirting with each other. Dani and Zach were being the adorable couple that they are. I felt tension though, when it came to Brianna and Mason. Every time they talked, or looked into each other  directions it was.... awkward.

 Now, Mia and I were heading to her car, it was after school and I seriously just need to head home and eat some ice cream, then probably watch Harry Potter.

Mia had a weird expression on her face the whole day. I finally stopped walking as we got to the car. I turned around to face her as she made her way to the drivers side door.

"What's up with you?". I asked her.

She looked up at me, and sighed. She shook her head and replied, "I-I don't know...I just feel really, strange...".

"Like?..." I pushed.

She shrugged her shoulders, " just...I just, there's something, making me want to stay here or something... I can't explain it."

I just contrinued to stare at her, "Is it have to do with...your powers" I whispered the last part in hushed voices, over the car. 

She shrugged again, "Like I said, I don't know."

She opened the car door and stepped in, and I did the same, getting in to the passenger seat. I shut my car door, and buckled my seat belt. I ushed my hair over the seat belt, then placed my hands in my lap. I glanced over at Mia and saw her stare off into space out the winshiled. 

I cleared my throat making her look my way. She finally snapped out of her daze and looked at me, expectanly, waiting for me to talk.

"Maybe, we should talk to mom. She'll know what's going on."

She nodded her head in agreement and then she started the car, and we took off, out of the school parking lot, heading home.

I was sitting in my living room at home, with Mia in the kitchen, cooking dinner. I woud help, but with everything going on with her, she wants to do everything herself to get her mind off things. We picked Luke up from school, he was now in his room playing video games like usual. We were all just waiting for my mom to come home. I have no idea where she's been.

I was changing the channels, looking for something, interesting to watch. I was going to watch Harry Potter but of course it's not playing on tv. Then I couldn't find my DVDs, there still in boxes in the garage.

I'm to lazy ti go through all of that.

So right now I'm watching a rerun of Gossip Girl from the first season. Then on scheduile Luke runs down the stairs and glides over to the floor in front of the couch. He sits right by my feet and shouts, "Gossip Girl!".

My little brother watches all the shows I love....It's kind of weird, and I always tease him about it, but then he threatens to turn me into a cat and bring me to the pound.

That gets me to shut up.

"Can't Chuck and Blair just realize they're in love!" Luke shouts at the television.
