Chapter Three
I take a deep nervous breath as Mia and I step foot into; Marci's Diner. I look around the fifties style diner, and I found it quite amusing. The waitresses were dressed like the waitress's back in fifties used to wear, along with the waiters. They is an arcade area, for a bunch of kids, then their is the desk and area where you get your order taken. Then They're are tables and booths all over the place.
Getting Mia to join took a bit of convincing and maybe, a little manipulation. Mia was still shaken up a bit from knowing there are werewolves in this town, but also because she didn't feel very well still. We were going to tell my mom, but she was distracted with finishing the dinner Mia started, for her and Lucas.
I had to tell Mia that if she didn't go with me, then I would be alone, and I would feel awkward, sense I barely knew these people. She told me to, "fuck off". Then I started to tell her how if she went out with us, it would make her feel better, and get her mind off the wolves that are in this town. That didn't work that well either, so I just kept annoying her until she gave in... and now, were here.
I looked around the resturaunt, hoping to see if I can spot Dani or anyone one of them. I just kept staring off, until I felt someone pull my right arm. I look over to see Mia dragging me off somewhere. I look up from her hand and look at the direction she's taking me. I see her heading over to a table, with a bunch of people, it takes me a second to realize I knew all those familiar faces...all but two...
We walk over to the table, and everyone stops talking and looks over at us. Everyone's faces seems like they light up, Jenni and Dani stand out of their chairs and rush over to Mia and I, then grab us into bone crushing hugs.
"Mia! Carly!". They both shout.
Brianna and Lexie wave off to us from the table and say their 'hellos' probably not wanting to suffocate us, like everyone else was. Zach walked over and gave me a fist bump and a smirk on his face. Then Aiden walked over too and stopped and stared at me for a moment. Zach looked between Aiden and I and smirked even more, then winked at me. I rolled my eyes and Aiden pulled me into a hug.
The ug was nice. It was a little more than a friendly hug, witht he way he was holding on to me, but the hug only lasted for a long moment, before I heard someone clear their throat behind us. It wasn't until then that I realized there was someones strong gaze, staring at me.
We let go of our hug, and I felt Aiden stiffen for some reason. I turn around and I saw a guy, who looked to be in his early twenties a long with a girl who was maybe a year or two older than me. She had long blonde hair, a fake tan, and caked her self with makeup on her face, but other than that was very pretty.
The guy standing in front of me, had the most gorgeous, yet familiar eyes I've ever seen, and he was probably the most good looking man I've ver laid eyes on. Then I realized why he must look famialiar, he must be Jenni's older brother...and that must be his bitch of a girlfriend.
The girl had her arm wrapped around his and clung to him like her life dependent on it. I felt a little uncomfrtable with the way he was looking at me, but I enjoyed it at the same time...
Weird....
"Aren't you going to introduce us, brother?" They mystery man asked, confirming my question of him being Aiden and Jenni's brother. He asked Aiden, not even glancing his way, but having his eyes on me the entire time.
Aiden remained quiet and wrapped his arm protectivley around me, for some reason. I saw The Mystery Guy's eyes darken and stare at Aiden arm, like he wants to rip it off.
