"so, our story it uh.. well it begins..." i clasp both hands to my chest trying so hard to think of where to start.
"How about when you met the group. Or is there something that happened before that? You know what, just start wherever you want. When you met the group, before, when the outbreak happened, you pick." She says fidgeting again before letting out a shaky breath.
"Lets start at.." i sit back and sigh deeply. "Okay, aha you'll like this. So.."

Day 516.
"They were at their second camp and honestly it was a genius plan to go to Texas instead of North Carolina. Moving south between the fall and spring seasons was a smart idea based on the fact we have a baby on the way. A nice sturdy place to bunker down, maybe try to actually build something out of basically nothing. We've done it before. And it worked, until-"
"Oh shoot. I should start with that part of the story first. I think i need to go back a bit."
"Wynn." Amaris whines and i glare at her.
"I'm old! Leave me alone, you would have a lot of jumbled memories too" i scold her and she rolls her eyes.
"Where was i? Oh wait, before that. So now we have to go to.. oh, yes. Okay. So. The hospital." I start again
After those few weeks of wandering the outskirts of the city, in a forest residing beside where they had ventured from last.
"There's a hospital, on the east side, it's right across from the forrest, and on the other side of the forrest is a main highway. I have a plan for us but it's going to take all of us to do this. I need you all in this with me." Jess says.
She's kind of taken the title of the leader of our group. Everyone listens to her, acknowleges her when making plans. Oversees everyones ideas, and she actually knows what she's talking about most of the time.
Within a few weeks of beginning to build a life, there have been some bumps on the way.
During their 5th or 6th week at the hospital, the D wing suffered some damage from Before; leaving a giant gaping hole to a whole side of the hospital wing. Of course, Bri suggested they move on if they couldn't get the wing fixed before winter came. Jess had explained to her how they weren't leaving until Maddie's baby arrived, which wasn't for another whole 7 months, meaning they'd be there until the summer months next year.
Bri then went to Shelby to ask her to help convince Jess to take a chance with the western idea, to move west due to farming season approaching. How good it would be to land on an actual farm to have genuine crops.
Maddie had told Bri that they were staying for her baby, and Tom interjected that it was a nice idea just not at that specific time frame.
Pissed off and frustrated, Bri goes back to Emma who she can explain all her frustrations to and she'll listen to her.
After a long rant and spiel, Emma eventually agrees with Bri and they decide to leave sometime within the next season.
After a few weeks, and the discovery and acceptance of new member, Brit, Emma, and Bri all grow very close with her. After a few months of becoming part of the group, Bri and Emma decide to invite Brit to go with them.
Brit declines, explaining how it's been a long time since she's ever felt this at ease with herself and others.
Touched, Emma reconsiders her decison to stay. She discusses it with Bri and after a little bit of persuasion, Bri decides that they will stay until Maddie has her baby.
