Sunggyu was standing in the street, waiting for the green light. At that moment, I realized that his life was in danger. I don't know how or why I felt it, since I was not his guardian. But I just knew it.
I waited for about ten seconds, but Amy didn't arrive. Instead, a car which was going to crash was coming.
"Guardians musn't involve the other human's life".
But I didn't have time. So I just decided to follow my heart. I ran thoughtlessly. I took him in my arms, and pushed him. As expected, the car crashed behind me. But it was when I turned my head that the weirdest thing occured : I came face to face with Sunggyu. He thanked me. And asked me if I was okay. Actually I was not. How could he see me? He is a human! I was confused. Too confused. But I couldn't tell him that. So I only replied that I was fine.
"Thank you so much. Without you, I could have died" he said. He seemed to search something in his pocket. Then he looked at my hand. After a pause, he grasped my hand and wrote his number on it. "Sorry, I don't have any paper right now so I wrote it on your hand. I want to thank you, but I really have to go right now. But please, call me." He insisted. And he disappeared.
Not long after, Amy arrived. "My assistant told me! Why the hell have you done this? My heart didn't stop, he surely was not in danger..." She nagged a lot. But I didn't paid attention. I was still thinking about what happened. Amy didn't seem to know that Sunggyu saw me.
As soon as we came back home, the director scolded me. Until he saw the number written on my hand. He turned pale. Indeed, Guardians can't wash. It means that I'm not able to erase it. So logically, I would never write it, by myself. Moreover, it's physically impossible. When I explained to him that a human saw me, he stopped for maybe two or three seconds. He said "I knew it. She was like you. Curious, imprudent, but courageous. Regretful of her death. And one day..." He stopped. He turned back and looked at a drawing for a while.
He then whispered "You'll go back soon... Maybe".
