For over 200 years, two kingdoms have been at a state of war. Their unending conflict has caused countless deaths and separation of the two kingdoms. The two kingdoms are separated by a thick forest, even Mother Nature has decided to divide them because of the damage they did to each other. One kingdom is ruled by King Florion and Queen Bertha along with their daughter Princess Natalia, the name is Kingdom Nevaria. The other kingdom is ruled by King Edgar and Queen Belle along with their daughter Princess Alexandra, the name is Kingdom Thivalon. The people of both kingdoms adore and have a high respect for their royals.

The daughter of King Florion is loved by the people of Nevaria, she is regarded as the light of the kingdom by the people because of her goddess like beauty. Her long wavy blonde hair suits her oval shaped face and ice blue eyes, along with her fit and shapely body. She is adored by the people and she loves to serve and protect the people of Nevaria. Even though she is a princess, against her parents' will, she goes out of the Kingdom and loves to train herself with guards. She has set it in her mind that a ruler must be able to learn how to defend herself before she can learn to defend her people. But the princess is still loved by the King and Queen anyways. She has started training at the age of 8 when a family in her kingdom were robbed and killed, ever since then, she wanted to be able to protect her people not just by her words of safety and security, but also with her sword and shield. In her free time, she loves to just curl up in a corner and read her favorite books and fell in love with the authors like Jane Austen, Edgar Allan Poe, Mark Twain and many others.

On the other kingdom, the daughter of King Edgar has a different story, you see, King Edgar wanted to have a son as a successor to him, so ever since the day Princess Alexandra was born, she never felt the love by her father nor her mother. The King and Queen barely acknowledge her existence, so to prove her worth, she has studied and worked hard, at the age of 10 she has learned things that normal children her age have not yet even heard of, she has learned 8 languages, knows how to hack any computer and have made lot of inventions. All of these but her parents are still not proud of her. At the age of 14, she was caught in an embrace and kiss with another girl by her father. She was almost killed by her own father, blinded by rage and shame that his daughter is a lesbian, during the struggle, he stabbed his own daughter at the back of her shoulder. "Father, please no! Please!!" Alexandra pleaded with her father but in his eyes, she is no longer his daughter, but an embarrassment to his family, before he could stab her again, her mother the Queen bursts into the room and stopped him from killing her. She was able to convince him not to kill her or else they wouldn't have a successor anymore, not to mention the fact that when the people of Thivalon got word of this, they would hate him.

At the present day, Alexandra at the age of 22, has decided to marry her longtime lover Evie, a noble in their kingdom. She wanted to ask for permission from her father the king even though she knew he would disagree and see it as an abomination and unnatural, but her love for Evie is strong enough for her to face her father and convince him otherwise.

Alexandra's POV

I walked into the throne room with my emotions all over the place, I was feeling scared but courageous at the same time. I knew I had to do this to be with the love of my life. Walking down the familiar red carpet all the way to the front for the throne where my father sits, the walls are decorated with red and black curtains, on the center at the top of the ceiling was a magnificent chandelier that illuminates the room. Guards were stationed on each sides of the room, ready to protect and die for the king if needed be. When I arrived at the foot of the King, he sets down his wine glass on a table beside him and stares menacingly at me. Those green eyes devoid of love that I inherited looked at me, he sat up straight and asked me
