Natalia's POV

I'll never get over breakfast with Alex. I was in the middle of reading To Kill a Mocking Bird when a light knock pulled me from the fantasy provided by the book to reality. I already know who the person on the other side of the door is and it is making me giddy with excitement, knowing that I can see and marvel at those magnificent forest green eyes again. To gaze upon them makes my insides all twisted up and.... I like it.

Wow, after knowing her for in just a span of two days, I think I'm already falling for her. And I'm falling fast. Well, to make it more precise, I fell for her since the day I removed that raggedy sack from her head and gazed into those green eyes. There's always been something that's been drawing me to her since day one.

I started making my way towards the door and opened it. There she was in all her glory, her brown hair cascading behind her back until her waist and some of it on her front on the right side, her slender body dressed to perfection with just a simple white flowy dress that ends above her knees which shows off her toned legs, and her face that is sculptured by angels and has no makeup whatsoever. God, can I wake up to this everyday?

"Good morning" She said with a smile that made my heart skip a beat. And that's it, I'm hers. A simple greeting and I'm head over heels in love with this girl.

"Good morning" I replied with a smile of my own. We eventually made our way downstairs to the dining hall, no one saying anything and we fell into a comfortable silence. Just enjoying being in each other's presence.

"So, do I get a hint of your surprise for later?" I asked, breaking the silence as we were both seated and the maids placing the food on the table.

"No, it would ruin the surprise." She said with a smirk,

"Oh come on, just one? It won't ruin it, I swear. I'll even pretend to be surprised if I find out" I said while starting to eat,

"Hmmm.... It involves something you really love. That's it, that's the only hint you're getting." She said while taking a bite of her waffles. Something I really love, You? I thought to myself. What is up with me? It's too early to think that about her. I can't already have that much of strong feelings for her.

"Something I really love? That doesn't really give away much." I said instead,

"Trust me. You'll love it. Or I hope you will." She said with a shy smile,

"If it's from you, I'll definitely love it. You could give me a rock and I would love it." I said to her causing her cheeks to redden. I've seen her blush so many times now that I thought I'd be used to it by now but it's still adorable as ever and makes my stomach feel the familiar fluttery tingles.

We continued our playful banter throughout the meal until we had to go our separate ways for our activities for the day.

"So, I'll meet you at 4 o'clock at the gates okay?" she asked,

"Yes, I'll ask Don later to ready the horses and security for our..... date." I said with a wide smile and as if on cue, another blush is creeping up to her cheeks. God, I love he--, to make her blush, is what I was thinking.

"Okay, I'll see you later on our date then." She said with a face splitting grin. Before she has the chance to turn and walk away, I leaned in and quickly kissed her cheek. I turned away with a smile before she could say anything but not before seeing the familiar red tint crawling up her cheeks.

The day dragged on even though I only have a handful of things to do, I just can't help but think of a certain brunette that makes me smile by just the mere thought of her. I wanted to have lunch with her but after asking the maids where she was, I was told that she was preparing things for our date. Eventually, 4 o'clock came and I was nervous as hell. I've already hung out with her before, what's so different this time around? I've kissed her cheek for God's sake, why should I be nervous about a little date?
