Road Trip!!

Chapter 3

-I had an amazing idea on how to propose but we would need to go on a road trip. So I went home after work to tell Rachel. I walked into the apartment and got greeted with a kiss. "Hey Finny! How was work?" She asked me. "Pretty good! Do you wanna go on a road trip?" I asked her.

-I looked into his eyes and knew he really wanted to go on this road trip so I agreed. He got all excited and hugged me, his smile is infectious so I found myself smiling as well. We quickly packed our bags and went to Lima. I didn't understand why we went to Lima but here we are.

-She looked confused on why we are here. But she will understand once we start. I took her to William Mckinley High our old high school. I took her to a part in one of the hall ways. "What are we doing here?" I smile "This is were I first saw you." She blushes. "You remember that? I didn't even think you noticed me!" I laughed "I actually looked back to see you again but you didn't notice." She replied "Are you serious?" 'Yea." She smiled and kissed me. "I love you so much Finny" I smile on her lips. "I love you too." Next I take her to the choir room (It's a Saturday so there aren't any students.) "What about here, why are we here?!?" She's always been curious. "This is were I first met the girl in the hall and it's the place I found family and true love, not fake love." She smiles and hugs me.

-Next he takes me to the auditorium. He takes my hands. "This is the place were I fell in love with the girl in the hall. This is were we kissed for the first time. And when we kissed I felt something not just a spark but fireworks. I felt complete. It felt right and it scared me so I ran but anyway this is also the place where I proposed and even though it didn't work out I still meant every word I said." I tear up at his words. I love him so much, more than life itself. We kiss. I hear a door open and look over to see Mr.Schuester. "Rachel and Finn?!? Wow it's been forever.!!!" Me and Finn say in unison "Mr.Schue!!! We laugh and have a group hug. "Together again huh?" He says jokingly. Finn laughs. "You but this time is forever." I smile and kiss him on the cheek. " I knew if any glee couple could make it, it would definitely be you two." I blush and smile. "Thanks Mr.Schue! It means a lot. After a while me and Finn head to Breadstix's for dinner. We sit at our usual table we sat at when we were dating in high school. He smiles and takes my hand. "This is the place were we've had endless dates." I giggle and our food comes.

-After that we go to my house and were greeted by my mom with bear hugs. "Rachie and Finny bear oh it's so good to see you two!!!" My mom has always seen Rachel as her daughter and hopefully will be soon. I kiss Rachel's cheek and tell her I have to take care of something and that I would be back soon. I hop into my truck I had when I was in high school, my mom didn't have the heart to sell it. I think about how many make out sessions I've had with Rachel in hear I just laugh as I pull into her dad's driveway. I ring the doorbell and Hiram Berry answers it. "Hello? Oh Finn it's so lovely to see you!!! Come in. Leroy Finn is here!!" I step into the Berry's house. I've always loved how comfy and inviting it is in here. "Is Rachel in town as well?" Leroy asks. They probably are disappointed that she isn't here. I don't want to make them mad so I try to get to the point quit. "She is, she's at my moms we are going to visit you guys tomorrow. But I wanted to ask you guys something first. Now she isn't to know about this." They just nod. "Okay want to go sit on the couch?" Hiram asks. I nod and we go and sit. On there fireplace there is a Rachel shrine. Rachel's parents love her so very much so I know this might not be easy but anyway towards the end there is a picture of us. It's a picture of us at the park in New York. She's in my arms and we are smiling into the camera. I smile. That's one of my favorite pictures of us. "I know it didn't work out last time. But we are older and more mature now. I love your daughter with all my heart. She is the most important person in my life. I love everything about her. Just with one smile she can light up my whole day...scratch that life. She is amazing and I want to make it work this time. She is my soul mate.Before I never even asked for your blessing that's something I regret. But I am asking for it now. I am planning on proposing to her, will you give me your blessing?" Hiram squealed. "That's so sweet of course I give you my blessing!!!" I smile and hug him. I look over at Hiram's partner. "Leroy?" He looked thoughtful for a moment before replying. "Every time my little baby calls us, she always loves to talk about you and how romantic you are. She always brags about how much she loves you. This time is deferent and even I can tell. I will give you my blessing under one condition, if you break her heart, I will neuter you." He said completely serious. "Of course Mr.Berry but I can assure you that won't be needed. I love her very much." He nodded and we all hug. "Now try and hide your excitement Rachel is a very smart woman and she will notice if you act all giggly." Hiram just laughs and nods. When I get back to my parents house they are watching movies I lay on the couch and Rachel snuggles close to me. I kiss her hair. "Want to meet up your dads tomorrow?" I ask her. "Yes!!!" She says excitedly. I laugh.

-The next day we visit my dads and it's so nice to see them, we play games until me and Finn have to leave. My dad Hiram had been acting really bubbly today. But I am guessing it's because he hasn't seen me in awhile. Finn tells me we are going to a stage next. That surprised me. When we got their I instantly realized were we are. He smiles and looks at me as we stand on the stage. "This is were we sang OUR. Song. The song that means everything to me. It's kinda like our theme song. Because Rach I am forever yours faithfully!" I kiss him pationately. "This is also the first place where I finally admitted my feelings and told you that I loved you, I still do." He says. "I love you so much Finn."

-Next I take her back to NewYork. I take her to another stage. "I remember this. We sang Pretending here!" I laugh. "Yup!! There isn't that much to say about this place other than I will never regret that kiss." She smiles. "Me either." "I have two more places we need to go to." I take her to bow bridge. My hands start shaking. This is it! I got down on one knee. "There is so much I wanna say to you. You are the light in my life and even though it didn't work out before, I know it will this time. Your my soul mate. When we kiss I feel complete. Without you I feel like I only have half a heart. You make me whole. This time is different I know who I wanna be. I wanna be Finn Hudson, husband of Rachel Berry. I wanna make you proud. There is so much I did wrong before. But I've done everything right this time. What I am trying to say is your the love of my life. Rachel Berry will you marry me?" She gasps and tears up. "Yes yes!!!!! Of course I will marry you I love you so much and your my soul mate to." I smile and spin her around. Then I put the ring on her finger. She admires it. "Look on the inside." She does. "I am forever yours." She grins. "Mine is gonna say faithfully." I tell her. Then we head to Sardis. "See that's why I had to leave yesterday, I went and asked for your dads blessing." She smiles real big. "Really you asked for there blessing!?! Your the best." I hug her.

-I can't believe it!! I am soon to be Rachel Hudson!!!! I am engaged to Finn Hudson!! I love him so much!! After dinner we go home and uh have some 'fun'
