I was taking an early morning jog. The sun was just beginning to rise so it was still a little dark out. I was about to take a quick break for water until I saw him. He was sitting on a park bench; dark hair falling onto his face. Tears were running down his cheeks and the sound of him whimpering was barely audible. Oh how badly I wanted to go up to him and give him a hug and tell him that everything would be alright.

But I'm a coward.

Before he could spot me, I ran behind a tree and peeked out from the side.

"Hoseok! I've been looking all over for you!"

A girl ran up to him.

Then she kissed him.

I didn't want to witness anymore so I ran away.

I ran as if my life depended on it.

Yet I didn't know why.
