It was a lazy day, Josh and I just lounging around in the living room and watching the X Files while eating popcorn. I had my head resting in his lap while I focused on the tv show and he was aimlessly playing around with my (Y/H/C) hair while he kept his focus on the tv. All was quiet until he piped up out of nowhere, "Hey, Y/N?" He started. "Hm?" I mumbled as I tried to listen to him and watch the show at the same time. "My friend Brad's wedding is next Saturday, d'ya wanna come with me?" He asked quietly. "Yeah yeah, of course." I replied, looking up at him and smiling a bit. I liked weddings and all, but picking out a dress and shoes n shit is fucking exhausting.

It was Saturday, the day of Brad's wedding. I had just finished putting the finishing touches on my hair and makeup. "Y/N!" I heard Josh call from our shared bedroom. "Yeah?" I yelled back. "Can you help me with this?" He hollered. "Help with wha-" I cut myself off when I got in the bedroom and saw what a mess he'd made of his bow tie. "Oh boy." I muttered as I walked up to him and attempted to un knot the small black tie. After a few minutes of struggling, I had managed to tie it perfectly and we were out the door.

We had arrived at the church and were now sitting in one of the pews in the middle row. Josh had been pretty clingy for the past couple of days and I dunno why but it's not how he normally acts. He held my hand in his and squeezed pretty darn tight when the bride was coming down the aisle, her dress was really pretty.
After the ceremony, we walked into the grand hall for the reception. There were lots of fairy lights everywhere and there was even a DJ. Funny enough, they were playing twenty one pilots. Josh and I sat down at our table with Tyler, Jenna, Mark and Mark's girlfriend (also named Jenna). We ate dinner and had a few snacks as the night went on. Then after watching the bride and groom's first dance, everyone could go dance too. Josh dragged me away from the table and out on to the dance floor for a slow dance. The music was cheesy and cringy as all hell but I delt with it for his sake. We swayed in time with the music and held each other close, my hands around his neck and his hands on my waist. Eventually the song came to an end but before I could start walking to our table, Josh pulled me aside and whispered, "I'm gonna marry you so hard one day." And two years later, he did.
