Confession

The movie lasted for more than two hours. Wala akong may naintindahan ni isa sa buong palabas. My mind was flying somewhere. I was planning to follow them but I don't wanna walk in the mall with my tears rolling down my cheeks. It has ended already but Cyan didn't make it, so does Kuya Ian. The thought of one of my best friends being with the guy I like is the last thing I would want.

"I'll go ahead, guys. See you!" Sel suddenly said and stood up.We're currently in a coffee shop to have some snack.

"Saan ka pupunta, Sel? You haven't finished your food yet." I told her. It looks like she's in a hurry.

"Oh, that. You can have it. I had to find Cyan since she didn't show up 'til the movie ended. She texted me she'll be back but she still hadn't and I'm freaking worried." She explained. I nodded with the thought of Cyan and Kuya Ian being together. I had to free up my mind so I spoke it out.

"Why was she with Kuya Ian, anyway?" I added up. Hoping she would answer me to the extent of her knowledge about them.

"Well, I don't know." She shrugged off her shoulder.

I shouldn't think of it the wrong way, damn. What are we for me to get hurt, anyway? But Cyan, she's my friend.

"Do you need anything else?" she smiled. Umiling ako. "Then, aalis na ako. Bye." She waved her hand at lumabas na nang coffee shop.

"I noticed, kanina pa busangot ang mukha mo." Frances stated. I pointed myself. She nodded.

"You know stuffs..." I said.

"What stuffs?" she said looking intently at me. Like I'm a crystal ball she has to read.

"Just." I answered and took a sip from my coffee.

"Of all people, Maxine. You can't at least lie to me." I sighed because I know she's right.

"So I saw Cyan going out of the Cinema House with Kuya Ian earlier." I started off and told her 'til my convo with Sel.

"Siguro naman may pinag-usapan lang na importante diba. It is impossible that something's going on between them. You know Cyan has a special someone already and Kuya Ian, well..." she stopped and raised her index finger in the air. "Or maybe they were not together! Baka namalik mata ka lang kasi wala kang suot na glasses. Your vision is blurry without it, Max. Don't deny it."

Bakit hindi ko nga ba naisip yun? Maybe their eyes just met across each other. But, still, may possibility pa rin naman na magkasama sila. I trust Cyan but there's too many what if's in my mind right now. Gosh, I hate myself. She's my freaking friend! Why was I thinking badly about her?

"See? Natahimik ka. Don't jump into conclusions kasi." She said and her eyes widened. I followed her gaze and my mouth rounded with the idea in my mind.

I saw Dev enter the coffee shop but what has caught my attention was the girl standing behind him. His left hand was holding Cyan's right hand tightly.

"Sabi ko na nga ba! I saw Dev went out of the Cinema House earlier, too. And I had all these thoughts running in my mind while you were talking about Cyan and Kuya Ian being together." She said looking so proud of her self.

"Yeah, I admit it. I was wrong." I said and looked at Cyan and Dev again. That's when I noticed their crumpled face. Nakakunot ang noo ni Dev habang si Cyan naman ay sobrang pula, looking very mad.

"OMG. Goals na naman ang dalawa. Kahit mukang nag-aaway, bagay pa rin." Frances suddenly burst out.

"Walang Forever." Sabi ni Rose habang puno nang cake ang bibig.
