The ballroom was filled with people. Sans sighed again, adjusting in his suit.

"DON'T BE NERVOUS, BROTHER! SOON, YOU'LL FIND THE LADY OF YOUR DREAMS!" Papyrus, the younger prince, said. He was well dressed as well, excited more than usual.

"I know Pap." The skeleton said, noticing none of the youths his age.

Frisk sniffed, wiping away her tears. The pain of grief ached inside her, longing for her parents.

She sighed. The chores still needed to be done. Right now, it was to sort the basement.

The boxes were heavy, but Frisk tried her best. Then something shimmering caught her eye.

A box full of dresses and fine jewelry sat there, perfect and untouched. Frisk checked a tag, eyes widening. They were exactly her size.

Soon, Frisk stared at her reflection. The dress she had chosen was a dark blue, small diamonds sparkling like a night sky. She wove a silver diadem into her brown curls, and hurried upstairs.

It was easy to catch a coachman. Soon, the carriage rolled to a stop in front of the palace. Frisk thanked the nice man politely as he opened the door for her.

She hurried up the stairs.

Sans rolled his eyes as Lady Something-Or-Other batted her eyelashes at him.

"The lady Chara Dreemurr and her brother lord Asriel Dreemurr." The announcer yelled.

A young goat boy led a pretty redhead up to the prince. "Your Highness." Chara said, a unpleasant smile on her face. Sans gulped, eyes darting away.

And landed on the entrance of the ballroom. A gasp escaped him as his cheeks turned blue.

A beautiful brunette, dressed in dark blue, stood there. She looked around in amazement, a blush staining her tanned skin. Her blue eyes sparkled in the light.

Sans gripped the arm of the announcer. "Who is that?" He asked.

"I- I don't know, sire. I never seen her before." The poor monster said.

The prince ignored Chara's protests as he headed to the girl.
