Day of the Party

Once the drill was over, we went back in. It turned out that it wasn't a drill. Sophie had pulled the alarm on purpose.

"Real mature." I mumbled under my breath.  I guess Sophie saw me standing there because she started to walk towards me. There was a basket in her hands no doubt that it was filled with invites to her annual Valentine's party. And I bet she is coming over here right now to say how "Sorry" She is that I won't be invited.

"Bella." She said.

"Sophie." I said while turning to put my books in my locker.

"Well I'm sure you know I am having my~Heart to Hearts~ Party this weekend and just to show how nice I am, I'm inviting the whole school." She handed me a pink invite that had glitter all over it.

"We will be there." Jackie ran up and said before I could decline.

"Great." Sophie said. She started to walk away but turned to say something else, "Oh, and Abella, Please at least try to make your self look descent at the party." She said with a cheap smile then she walked away.

"God I hate her. Why are we going to her party?"

" Because Alexander is gonna be there!. " Jackie practically yelled, causing people to look at us weird. The bell rang. I took off to my next class because I knew I was going to be late. I wasn't exactly paying attention to where I was going when I ran right into someone. It was Alexander. 

"Oh my God" I said," I am so sorry."

"Dont worry about it." He said.

"I'm Abe...."

"Abella Black."He finished for me. How did he know me?

"Um, yea."

"Sorry I saw you in class today. The teacher said your name."

"Oh yea."

"Is this Alexander Halls here with us today? " Angie asked.

"No."

"And When was the last time you saw Mr. Halls?"

"At the party." I lied. I saw him the day after the party, but I could never tell them.
