Chapter 36: Nominated by a Norwegian Doing a Dare

It's been a few days now since the move from your old dorm to the 'modern paradise' you share with 'piano man' and 'Swiss army knife'. Everyone in the apartment has seemed to be avoiding each other and working on school, but today is a Friday afternoon, which leaves you to ponder how the weekends will play out; will the antisocial behaviour from everyone continue on or will a sudden outburst of the deadly 'human interaction' between roommates strike?

Berwald: walking beside you 
Are you busy?

You: stopped walking
N-not really...

Berwald: watching as groups of friends walk past
Tino and everyone is in the library; do you want to go?

You looked around and noticed that the main entrance to the library wasn't far away; besides, Berwald has seemed a little down ever since the day in the principal's office, he's been such a loyal friend to you that it was time for you to return a favour.

You: softly smiling at him and walking towards the building
Sure.

The library was teeming with life as you both entered; this was the first time you've been in here after school was finished for the day and surprisingly it seems far more lively than during free periods. It didn't take long to find the gang, thanks to the unmistakable sound of Matthias's voice being carried to every corner of the building; they were all hanging out in the lounging area in front of the fireplace with was oddly lit. Friendly smiles welcomed you both and room was soon made for you both, looks like Mathias was gonna be your couch buddy, while Berwald was next to Tino and the third couch was taken up by Lukas and Emil who was doing homework.

Mathias: slinging his arm over the back of the couch
Truth or dare ____?

What?
Where is this coming from all of a sudden?

You: nervously squinting your eyes
T-truth?

Mathias: smiling at you
Out of us five, who is your best friend?

Umm...
Well you have known Berwald the longest
But, you were in a group project with Lukas
However, Tino has been really nice
Mathias... Has been Mathias, but really nice and somewhat annoying
... Emil? A stranger you know the name and face of, but with no voice

You: sounding uncertain
I don't know, I guess all of you.

Tino cheerfully clapped and let out a warm smile; Mathias on the other hand just swamped you with a big old bear hug; were they curious to see is you were the kinda person that had favourites?

Wait!
Now it's your turn to ask someone
And you knew exactly who to ask...

You: looking at the back of emil's head
Emil, truth or dear?

The boy froze as he was writing in his book; his back was turned to you and had his legs stretch out along the couch, resting his feet on top of Lukas's thighs. Emil cautiously leaned towards Lukas and whispered something into his ear; the Norwegian lifted his head up with a scowl at Emil and rolled his eyes.

Lukas: sighing with a monotoned face
Emil doesn't want to play, he wants to be excluded so he can focus on his homework.... (Scoffing in Norwegian) Kan ikke tro at han mener det han fortalte ham. (Can't believe he believes what he told him) I'll do a dare.

Unexpected!
Now you need to think of a dare for Lukas, but what?
