The morning air was thick, as it wafted in from the open balcony doors. Usually the sea air was calming; it'd used to be soothing.
You knew it was coming.
That you've used up all your nine lives; it was the day of reckoning.Your (e/c) eyes were dulled and drained of life. Eerily staring out towards the blowing curtains, stiffened vertically across your bed, with tucked hands resting between your head and pillow.
By now, millions would most likely have seen the video, except only the smallest percentage would be able to connect the dots and trace them back to you. Knowing that you ARE Little Miss Cyber. Chances are they would then expose you to the world, to collect the rich rewards for the unmasking of the influential blogger's alias of the LMC Blog.
You didn't dare to check your blog and see what people are saying about the video. However, that seemed so irrelevant right now, all that concerned you, was how are you going to see this plan through. The gamble had high stakes and every variable is scattered, making it possibly almost impossible for it to work perfectly.
It felt like you were waiting for something... Maybe even someone.
Are you meant to wait around for your punishment to summon you or are you meant to wonder around to find it?Reluctantly you pushed yourself off the bed, sitting up with a wooziness swaying your head around gently, then came the intense queasiness as you rose to your feet. Slowly stammering over towards the door, stepping in a slow pace synced up to your long, drawn out breathing, the bedroom door knob met the skin of your clammy, jittering palm.
The door knob started to twist by itself, causing your hand to withdraw from it from fright. Your nerves calmed as you saw a familiar person on the other side, staring into your soul with his ruby eyes.
Gilbert: tensing up his shoulders
Ahh, I'm presuming jou already have an idea, zthat jou need to see Germania? He sent Gilbert to get you?
Definitely expulsion!!!You didn't utter a word and pushed past him with your head down, feeling the tears threatening your eyes.
...
It felt like your first day one the island again; feeling the stinging gazes of all the students again, burning your skin like an evil child playing with a shard of glass to funnel the sun's heat to burn a cripple ant. You passed them all by with Gilbert escorting you up to Germania's office, noticing the frowning and wrinkling foreheads of your fellow classmates and friends. Some seemed more amazed over the development than others, with the occasional boy angry with his tears pooling. Ivan's opinion and reaction towards this is still a mystery to you, with you not seeing him anywhere on your journey, leaving you to only imagine the worst.
The privacy of the buildings hallways was haunting, more terrifying than the walk past all the students. Something about its empty silenced, scared you so much, that your walking pace began to become irregular and your hands fidgeting at your sides. The principal's door grew bigger and bigger, making you feel smaller and smaller, zooming through all your thoughts about if what you did, was the correct thing to have done or if you could have done it differently, to not make it end in this manner.
Gilbert snatched at your hand and stopped you just before the door, frowning at you.
Gilbert: whispering
Tell me vhy. Vhy did jou sacrifice both jour education and blog? You: looking at him with hollow eyes
B-because... I can.He wasn't happy with your answer and squeezed down on your hand, releasing some of his pent up anger out onto you.
