Want You Back

It has been three days since Ryder got his memory back. I haven't seen him since that. But Hayden and me have been growing close.

"Hey cutie what is for breakfast?" Hayden said as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Strawberry Bacon Pancakes." I said as I flipped one over.

"That sounds so good." Hayden said as he went and sat down at the table.

"Aubrey, sweetie." My mother said as she came around the corner.

"Yes mother." I said as I stacked Hayden's pancakes on his plate.

"I'm going on a trip to see an old friend. Please be good and be careful." She said as she gave me a hugged.

"I promise" I said as she let go of me and headed to the front door.

"Aww these pancakes are so good, cutie." Hayden said.

" I know, they are amazing." I said sitting down getting ready to eat my stack.

"So do you want me to stay here with you till you mom gets back?" Hayden says looking at me.

"Yeah that's fine." I said as I stood up and went to the stove to make more pancakes.

Then I felt to arms wrap around my waist. Hayden pulled me back against his chest as he spun me around so I was facing him. He kissed me. His lips tasted like syrup.

"Aubrey I wanted to ask you something." He said looking at me.

"Go ahead." I said knowing what he was going to ask me.

"Aubrey will you be my" Hayden had started to say when the door bell rang.

"This better be important." He said as he walked towards the door.

I walked to the front door to be greeted by Ryder.

"Hey, Ryder what do you want?" I said looking at him

"I want you." He said looking at Hayden and then to me.

"Ryder, we already talked about this." I said looking at him.

"Yeah well I think we need to talk about it again." Ryder said earning a growl from Hayden.

"Ryder, she doesn't want to so let it go." Hayden said getting up in his brothers face.

"Aubrey, can we please just talking." Ryder said.

"Ok we can talk but no funny business ok." I said looking at Ryder.

"Can we talk alone?" Ryder said glancing at Hayden and earning another growl from Hayden.

"Hayden, I will be fine." I said ushering him to go back to the kitchen.

"Alright, yell if you need help." He said before he kissed my head and walked back into the kitchen.

"So start talking, Ryder." I said to him.

"I want you back, Aubrey. I need you back." He said looking at me.

"Yeah well you should have thought about that before you broke my heart." I said looking at him.

"I didn't mean to. I lost my memory." He said begging me to believe him.

"Yeah well I told you and you denied it so why does it matter." I said crossing my arms over my chest.

"Yeah well I can't help that I am stubborn. But Aubrey I'm serious. I want you back." He said looking at me.

"Yeah well do you know how bad you broke my heart." I said looking at him.

"I'm sorry I'm a idiot Aubrey." He said looking at me.

"I'm not changing my mind, Ryder. I am with Hayden now." I said.

"Aubrey you can't tell me that you don't love me because I know you do." He said looking at me a sign of hope.

"Yeah I did. Until you tore my heart to shreds." I said knowing that I was lying to him about still loving him.

"Aubrey, I have one last thing to tell you." He said looking at me.

"I love you" He said.

I looked at him as if I heard him wrong.

Ryder loves me.

Before he walked out the door he turned around and whispered in my ear..........

"You will be mine."  He said as he walked back out of the door and away from my house.

You will be mine

That's all that kept playing over in my head.
