Claws are Out

When Hayden saw me and Ryder together his jaw clenched. He wouldn't look at Ryder he would only look at me. Ryder noticed Hayden looking at me so he pushed me behind him so Hayden couldn't see me. Ryder then started to clench his jaw and he started to clench his fist.

"Why are you here? " Ryder said to Hayden

"I'm here because of Aubrey. I didn't see her in school so I thought I would go looking for her." Hayden said

"How did you know she was here?" Ryder said

"He is a werewolf." I said very calmly

They both looked at me. Hayden started smiling and I couldn't help but smile back at him.

Hayden said " Aubrey how did you know?"

"Because that day you chased me and you followed my scent to find me." Hayden then looked at

Ryder and said " May I talk to Aubrey for a little,  alone?"

Ryder was worried at first until I told him that I would be ok and if anything went wrong I would yell. Ryder nodded his head and before he walked off he kissed me on my lips. It was a passionate and a kiss that told me he wasn't going down without a fight. Ryder then walked off and I waited till I knew he was out of sight. I looked at Hayden who was closer to me now.

"He is your mate isn't he."

I just shook my head yes.

"Aubrey I need to tell you something. "

"I already know Hayden."

He looked at me and that's were it snapped. He realized what I was he realized that I was a wolf. Then he kissed me and it had the same effect on me that Ryder's kisses did. Ryder came back in a flash and I saw his wolf take control. He shifted and started to circle Hayden while he growled. Hayden shifted into a wolf too. His wolf was brown and dark brown with brown eyes. He started growling and showing his teeth. Then all hell broke loose. 

They started fighting with each other. Ryder slammed Hayden against a tree. Then Hayden bit Ryder's shoulder leaving a big wound. They fought and nothing was going to stop them except for me. So I walked over and I started to shift. When I got close enough I went to intervene but it all went wrong. One of the boys bite my arm and threw me against a tree. When I hit the tree I felt my eyes start to get heavy and I started to close them. They both shifted back and came running over to me.

Ryder said" Look what the fuck you did to my mate."

Hayden said" She's not just your mate Ryder, she's mine too."

That was the last thing I heard before I finally blacked out.

She's mine too.

Ryder's POV

He's her mate too. I can't believe he was trying to pull this shit with me while my mate was losing all this blood. She hit her head pretty hard so I started to check for bumps and cuts. She had a huge bump on her head and she had a cut that was losing blood. I ripped some of my shirt and wrapped her head. When I looked at her arm and she was losing a lot of blood. The bite was very deep and wouldn't stop bleeding. Then I watched the wound do something that other wolfs wounds  couldn't do that quick. It started to heal. Then it was finished healing, leaving only a small scar. That's when I lost it and I unwrapped my shirt that was around her head. Just like I predicted it was healed she was fine. I stood up and walked away from her. She was a healer and a wolf. Hayden ran to her and picked her up and he started to run her home. I stood there in the woods frozen. My mate was a wolf/healer. Then I finally realized that I had just let my mate go with Hayden the boy that says she is his mate too.

I will not let him have my mate, Aubrey will be mine.
