A Special Mermaid

Hi, my name is Kailani Wilson which means "sea and sky" in Hawaiian.

I am a 16 year old girl working at Star-bucks, when a group of boys showed up... That go by the name One Direction.

I am a very special "thing" as some would call me, I'm a mermaid, half human, half fish. my father died when I was 7 so I live with my older sister who is 17,and mermaid, but isn't special like I am , and my mother which by the way hates my guts for my powers. And by mother I mean the devil, is married to a weird-o that is non-stop flirting me? Who's name I despise to say..... Butch Miller. UGH!

My grandfather was full merman but he meet a human and that is where my dad takes place, then my father meets my mother, how was nicer to me when dad was around, then along came me and my sis who became half mermaids like father.

I have a cousin that's really close to me named, Dylan Poplin which is also a merman (mermaid but a man), and I have two best friends, Sarah Maynard which is a human and Meri White, which is half mermaid like me, she has a pearl like color tail, that runs in her family, Dylan's color is a yellow at the waist then goes to a dark redish orange. while I'm not like every other mermaid/man, my tail is rainbow, mer-people say I'm the special one (whatever that means)? Every mermaid/man has a power and mine are I can control any thing with water in or on it and I'm swim faster than other mermaids/men, I'm stronger than most mermaids/mans, I can talk to some underwater animals but none of the mer-people can do that other than talk to each other under-water but the one thing I hate is I can't talk to sharks, and I change my color of my tail but depends on what mood I'm in.

But danger lurks to my kingdom of mer-people...

Its up to me and my friends to save the mer-people from the deeps of some kind of creature ready to take us all down but there is only one mermaid with the SPECIAL power and help of her friends... And that's ME!
