Chapter 3

Scorpius POV

It's Hogwart's carnival here;Gryffindor,Slytherin,Ravenclaw all towers are beautifully adorned;colorful candies,sweetened lozenges,toffes,chocolates are served always;shimmering festoons stole the celestial gravity of campus.Today,there is no differences among the Slytherins or Gryffindors;really,festivities delicate our mind,but in true sense,festivals shows us the social differences poor n rich,well clad n ill clad,well fed n ill fed.

And me,pure blood Malfoy is planning to confess my love,I don't know where I'll be stopped;still I have to try,I can't give away,in every single moment of day I think of my muse; fires remind me of her firey hair,roses remind me of her lips,butter reminds me of her skin.

Before all these nervousness I want to enjoy the festive mood,the calm winter breeze soothes me,the symphony of different instruments  regale me,the canvas of red,green,yellow,blue,orange,pink feast on my eyes,the aroma of chequered food n drink flavours cherish me in nova way.

Oh! I'm hungry by the way;

"hey buddy,let's try chicken nuggets" I suggested,and my friends flocked there with me.those nuggets were juicy n tasty;those tiny balls suddenly gave touch of delicacy in my insipid life.

we were walking through the stalls of magic lantern ,china cards,book corners;my friend Leo held my shoulder,"Baby,here is a Star-teller lady with crystal sphere,would you like to check your love life?"

On hearing his speech I turned and looked at that glamorous,painted eyed lady with crimson red matte lips;I'm already fed up with love but still desired to visit this lady; "Okay mate,let's go" I replied & approached.

"Madam, my friend Scorpius wants to check his love luck",Leo proposed first.And the lady did a round-eyed scrutiny on me,that hexed me.

"Oh dear boy,you are a coward fellow in love;you have brave heart;" she paused & looked at me;

Then she started again"But still your love life seems promising;your lovers will not be some random girl;she will be calm,fair,red haired girl with true intelligence."

Her wax eloquent gave me hope,the descriptions match with Rose,I looked at Leo,he was also smiling at me.I smiled at him.

"Oh baby,as if my saying matched with your dream princess!!!"she exclaimed so boisterously I had to blush.

"Ma'am ,say something more. Would I have her?" I asked.

"Boy,don't be wrong,none can own anyone;but still I must say,you will be perfect person for her.But you have to struggle for it......." 

"I will madam" I said interrupting her;she smiled "I bless you baby"

"thanks ma'am" !!

 We were moving towards Book Corner,by chance Rose showed up there,still she is with Lilly.She glanced at me and looked away.Golden hints of her brown eyes twinkled for a moment.I'm bound to    love those eyes;I've never saw such depth in someone's eyes.

"Mate,don't waste time,go & tell her",Johnny whispered.

"Don't swish your wand to make her fall in love" Leo pinched.

Rose POV

I watched as Scorpius started walking toward me;he seemed very nervous;watching him like that my heart started racing fast,but still I should not move away;I've to hear him.He came and stood in front of me;I'm sure,he blushed a little;it's pretty cold but sweats beaded on my face.

"Dear Rose"said he,"Happy Carnival"

"Hmm,.....same to you" I replied ,may be he didn't hear.

"I want to say something"he paused,"I am....head over heels...in love with you..."

Bewilderment captivated me;I could not believe my ears.But my cup of joy overflowed.After a few second I thought of replying suddenly a green ring of fire encircled Scorpius;being captured in that strange ring he perplexed,puzzled.But his his friends were laughing as if they didn't see anything.

He was standing like benumbed person;"Rose,run away,he may have some personal disturbance",Albus said,and Lilly started running holding my hand;I couldn't say anything I was so surprised with the incident;but I believe his friends,other people could not see the ring!!

If they could,they would come to save her.
