Kaiji POV
(Next Day of School)

It's the second day of school and I realized... I might be doomed.

There aren't any members in the photography club other than me because all of the third years have graduated already.

If this club doesn't get at least 4-5 members then the club has to close down so I need 4 members including myself to make the club stay.

I pump my fist up with a sense of determination. I need to find some members!

...

But how???

I sit down with my camera in my hand and wipe the lens. If only gaining members would be easy... or I should say if only gaining members that are actually interested in photography would be easy.

"Continue wiping the lenses and they're going to break," Akiko bluntly tells me as she takes a seat next to me bored.

"Eh? Why would you say that? These are the best lens I bought with all my allowance, they won't damage that easily. To be exact they're the Nikon 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6 ED VR AF-S DX." I tell her with my eyes sparkling. "They can zoom in super far or super close with the quality being superb when taking in zooms or just a regular picture. It can take in all the details that I need and can focus at the focal points. There's nothing like it," I beam with a pure smile.

Akiko stares at me with a blank look. "Wait I lost it at the name."

My eyebrow twitches. "It doesn't matter if I explain it to you anyways. You need to join the club that way I can explain it to you properly," I tell her and she shakes her head.

"I don't want to," Akiko says and I tilt my head.

"Why? You used to love photography when we were kids," I question and Akiko turns her head with a slight pause.

"Things changed. Pictures are the last things I want to see," Akiko hesitantly answers.

"Please at least put your name on your the club doesn't have to be forced to close down," I beg.

Akiko sighs. "Fine, if it's about club members then why don't invite the girls that came up to you yesterday. Didn't they want to be a part of the club?"

I sweatdrop. "A few girls asked if they could join but I don't think they were interested in the photography," I answer remembering how as I explained the club most of them were just looking at my face and giggling to one another.

"Then how about that one girl you greeted in the morning yesterday?" Akiko suggests. "Ask her to join, you like her right?" She says and I blush.

"I-I don't like her! I barely even know her!" I blurt out. "She's just a friend!"

"Sure she is~" Akaiko teases and I frown.

I push the front of my hair slightly embarrassed. "Anyhow. It doesn't matter. Shimizu is probably going to join the track and field team. I don't want to force her to do anything."

"Oh?" Akiko's eyes widen. "She's an athlete? She athletic and pretty. What a bonus," Akiko says and I frown.

"Looks aren't everything you know. I like a strong girl with a nice personality," I tell her.
