I stared out the car window; watching the landscape become blurrier as the speed of our car increased.
Tree. Tree. Bush. Tree. Grass. Tree.
That's pretty much all I could see, and it soon became a big splatter of green as we drove on. It reminded me of one of those abstract paintings you would find in art galleries.
This is so boring.
So boring, that I couldn't do anything but close my eyes just a little...
My head felt heavy, and I swung it back; mimicking a rag doll that had just been tossed aside on someone's desk.
Wait... Would I be the size of a doll compared to the giants? Ha. Who am I kidding? Of course, I would be- if not smaller!
This is going to be a long journey.
I listened to the gusts of wind whooshing past our car, and the muttered voices of my parent's conversation. All became silent as I eventually fell asleep.
*2 hours later*
I felt so relaxed. So peaceful. I wasn't sure how long I had been asleep for, but none of that mattered as I was woken up by a harsh nudge.
My eyes shot open.
"Wake up! We are here!" Freya pounced on me.
"OUCH GET OFF!" I screamed.
She excitedly grabbed my shoulders and pulled me back and forth as I grew more and more irritated. Soon our mother interfered.
"Stop it, you two. Freya dear, I'm glad someone's enthusiastic!" She looked over at Alicia who huffed, and then back at me who could barely contain my anger.
I gave her a 'what?' look, and the way she folded her arms across her chest was a hint for me to get up.
"Fine," I muttered and lazily slumped out of the car and onto the rocky pavement.
I walked towards Alicia, who simply shrugged, and back at excited Freya. I followed their gazes and gasped.
The houses were beautiful. Beyond anything I had ever seen. Our house was a cream colour- incredibly large. I'm not joking when I say it could be a mansion. Different plants lay scattered like frozen flames on the grass; all in an array of colours. I couldn't wait to get inside.
That was until I glanced to the left.
Wow.
And I thought our house was huge.
A massive building stood there, flowers and the house itself significantly larger than ours. I think I would be able to fit more than 100 of houses in that one house alone.
I never noticed my mouth fall open until I felt a hand shove my mouth closed, and I looked down to see a smirking Freya.
"It's insanely huge, isn't it? Now let's get inside. Mum, dad and Alicia are already in our new house- and we need to get ready to meet the neighbours!" She squealed.
I shivered at the thought.
I quickly chased after Freya into the house, to once again reveal more beautiful surroundings.
After I had found my room, unloaded different sorts of boxes inside, and fixed my suitcase, I ran downstairs into the large living room.
I was met by a frown from Alicia.
"What now?" I whined.
"They are making us meet them. Now." Alicia's chest rose up and down rapidly in panic. I placed my hand on her shoulder.
