Minutes passed like years although it was only a few before the door unlocked and two men came running down. Dan tapped Kayla and got up quickly, rugby tackling the first man to the floor. A gun rolled out into the light, both of them looked over at it. Then each other. Suddenly, they began crawling to it frantically and trying to push each other away. Dan got onto all fours and leaped forward, taking hold of the gun and swung his arm back, knocking the man unconcious and accidentally firing the gun once, hitting the roof and making the other man duck so Kayla marched over to him and whack him square in the face, knocking him also unconcious. Dan threw the gun away and took the man's clothes, putting them on himself. Kayla looked away as he changed, "what about me?" She asked.

"You're fine. They didn't mess up any of your clothes."

"I guess..." Dan and Kayla walked up the stairs and opened a second door leading into a long corridor. Two men in matching suits pulled guns and began firing. Kayla pulled Dan back just in time, "there's not way out of here! We're dead..."

"Now, where did all that confidence and reassuring words go?"

"I was trying to reassure myself too, y'know!!"
"Don't move."
"What?!"
Dan walked out in front of them and they pointed their guns at his face. He waited for them to get closer then pulled the same move he did on Kayla but instead, elbowing one in the face then punching the other's gun and kicking him onto the floor. Kayla ran past Dan, grabbing his hand and dragging him round a corner. The man that was still conscious got to his feet and tried to leap onto them but missed and smashed through the window, falling hundreds of feet to his death. They kept running until they reached a dead end and a sinister door. The entire wall to their left was glass and their right was a dark, demonic black metal. Kayla looked out the glass, "Dan, look!" She exclaimed, tugging his arm to look. Dan peaked and saw the whole city outside. It was obvious they were in some sort of business building that towered high above other common buildings. Looking down even made Kayla shudder and push towards the door, "I don't like it here. Let's find some stairs."

"Right."

They entered the room and there stood a handful of men in black suits, each getting more and more sinister as they led up to Mr Falcon is his white suit and fedora with a cocky grin on his face, "well, well, well. Look what we got here. Grab 'em." Two men ran forward and pushed Dan and Kayla back into the wall for two others to come and bring them to their knees for Mr Falcon to walk over. He took off his fedora and puffed smoke into Kayla's face as she gave him a dirty look. One of the men held out her arm and he put out his cigarette on her upper arm, looking over at Dan as she screamed from the pain. He cleaned some of the ash left on her arm and marched over to Dan, "how does it feel that she's in pain because of you? That she had to get hurt, because of you? Bad friend if you ask me."

He grinned and punched Dan in the cheek before turning him to face him and looking deep into his eyes, "to escape alive...you'll have to kill me. You ain't got killer in your eyes, kid. Take 'em where they belong." He nodded at his men and they dragged Dan and Kayla away, down the corridor.

Mr Falcon sighed and pulled a silver shining revolver out his pocket and checked the number of bullets. Two.

"Shame. I liked Kayla," he spoke to himself as he spun the gun around on his finger, "but that little brat of a boy was always gonna end up with a bullet between his eyes."
