No moonlight to shine my way
Cloudless skies on a starry night
Drips of blood fall in heavey light
Fathers drench in the ray of life
Fall to the ground in a stream of red
No moonlight could ever stand
I fly alone so no one can see
The blood that drips off my darkened wings
I fly on moonless nights
To hide the blood that falls
And tears of red that light my way
As I glide down to the ground
I wash my dark and bloody wings
In a pool of light deep in the night
Then I'll fly
With my clock once more tonight
