Silence

The pain build up, but I’m afraid to let you know about it

I fear that once you know you’ll stop listening to my words

I fear that you’ll shun me and even leave me behind

Are my fears real or just in my mind

Can I trust you to understand and even help heal this pain

Or will just stare off into space

Can I really just tell you that I hurt and you be there to give me a hand

Will find the key that opens my heart and heal what hurts

Or will stay silent and just let me bleed

Will you had more pain to what already there

Can you help me to survive and break this silence
