Find the words from those who really care
And let their voice in
The pain that throbs inside your heart
Let it out as the words drift over you
Like water flowing over your skin
Seek out those who have survived
And let them touch the pain deep inside
For a hand from them is a healing in itself
Their songs are hope
That they give without even knowing it
And we find out light within their words
A song that heals the pain from within
A shelter that we find when all hope is lost
A place to easy our sorrows and cry out our pain
For they heal us with just a song
A song so filled with hope
That it erases the pain within our hearts.
