They kept on fighting,
Fighting for years,
Hiding behind the door,
Was a little girl.Hearing the abusive words,
Feeling the hatred her parents had,
Seeing the façade slowly falling,
Was a little girl. For the first time,
The girl felt sorry to be born,
For the first time,
The girl was sorry to exist. All she knew was,
Her parents arguing,
As a perfectly broken barbie doll,
Was a little girl.Behind the door she stood,
The fake love she misunderstood,
Everything was clear now,
Maybe, she was born to be 'this'!Tears oozing out slowly,
Running towards her parents,
"What's happening mom & dad?"
"It's a divorce"
The little girl was broken!
She lost her childhood!Behind all this,
The games they played,
Someone suffered,
Suffered the most,
She was a little girl.A girl who saw her parents giving up,
A girl who heard those words 'divorce',
A girl who cried to sleep every night,
A girl who hated love,
After all, she was just a little girl,
A girl who just lost her childhood!
