The hustling and bustling Hogwarts students could never have been more quiet than they were now. The writing on the wall shocked a few students and started rumours, ever since it was discovered people had been starring their own rumours. Adrien, Alya and Nino hadn't yet discovered the writing for they were to caught up with Lila Rossi, the new girl who had joined their year. Lila Rossi was a pure-blood whose family was wealthy and respected through Italy.

Adrien was walking up the stairs to his dormitory when he noticed the the portraits pointing and staring at him, he ignored it. Until Peeves came in and yelled in a sing-song voice,
"The writings on the wall, the wall!
It makes you want to curl up in a ball.
Marinette's been kidnapped, yes Marinette.
And he doesn't even fret!
God, save the poor girl.
I think I might hurl,
Mr. Agreste doesn't care!
If  you have a plan, please share." Peeves danced around Adrien, waving his arms about. Adrien's head felt sore; writing, wall, Marinette, kidnapped. The words whizzed around his head like a tornado and it had already made its way down to his heart and has torn it to shreds. His sweet Marinette had been kidnapped, she had probably been tortured, and was probably terrified. What could he do? It was impossible to find her if he was in Hogwarts.

(Meanwhile)
Marinette discovered that her wand had been taken and so had Rose's, she discovered the names of her  kidnappers, and she figured out their plan of attack. Each day they would take turns to interrogate her, but they would change  turns depending on the day. They asked the same questions over and over.

Marinette shuffled over to Rose, the chains clashing together as she moved. Rose trembled as Marinette neared her, Marinette slowed down so she didn't scare the girl any further. Reaching out carefully, Marinette placed an arm around her trembling friend. Rose leaned her head on Marinette's shoulder, soon Rose stopped shaking and her head was dug deep in the nape of Marinette's neck. Marinette stroked her back carefully and hummed a little lullaby. Rose sighed and nuzzled into Marinette's neck, "Everything is going to be okay, I'll figure out a way to get us out."

Adrien buried his head in his hands as he stifled a sob. He muttered incoherent words to himself, while banging his head on the table. Alya and Nino sat across from him, just as worried as he was. Lila, who was sitting next to him, patted his back awkwardly. "Adrien, bro. Calm down, Marinette is a strong girl, she'll be fine." Nino tried to reassure him everything would be okay, but nothing was working. "I- I miss her! I- I'm worried about her Nino! She could be getting tortured, and I can't do anything about that!" Adrien sobbed, getting the attention of other students. Adrien was aware that everyone else knew, they upset too, but no one could compare to Adrien. "I just need some rest, I'll be back soon." He stood up and walked off to his dorm.

Adrien knocked on his father's door continuously, hoping to get his attention. When the door opened, Adrien was greeted by Nathalie. She stood to the side, making way for Adrien. He sat down and gave his father a hard look, "Why didn't you tell me?" He demanded. His father didn't answer, he spoke again, this time shouting, "Why didn't you tell me?!" Again, his father didn't answer. Adrien balled up his fists, and banged them on the table. "Adrien, I had to take into consideration your education. Hearing the news that Marinette had disappeared would had distracted you. I don't want you to worry. As soon as the holidays start I'll allow you to help us with the search, but now we have to focus on you."
"Father, as much as I appreciate your consideration, Marinette is still in serious danger! I can't wait until the holidays to see her, that's too long!"
"Adrien, the staff are doing the best they can to find Marinette, you have to take into consideration your education. I don't want you missing out." Gabriel kept his tone calm and collected, his gaze on Adrien and his hands folded in front of him.
"What about Marinette? She's not learning anything, please Father you have to let me help!" He pleaded, his hands balled and tears threatening to spill. Gabriel sighed and told Nathalie to leave the room. "Adrien, for the last time, no! I assure you, everything is fine." Adrien nodded and mumbled an okay. He left the room and let Nathalie walk back in.

"Dude, where were you? I checked the dorm but you weren't there!" Nino asked while trying to catch up to his friend. Adrien grumbled and replied, "I was having a discussion with my Father about something, no need to worry." He flashed Nino a fake smile and continued walking. Lila walked beside Adrien and asked, "Something bothering you, Adrien?" She looked at him expectantly.
"No, nothing." He mumbled and continued walking to class.

Lila sat at her desk, muttering incoherent words as she pulled out her ink, quill and parchment. Alya sat next her and also pulled out her supplies. "Is something bothering you, Lila?" She asked, Lila shook her head and waited for the teacher to arrive. When the teacher arrived, he started the lesson by saying that everyone in the class will be receiving a project that was due in two weeks, the class groaned and the teacher chuckled. "You'll be thanking me one day," he waved a finger at the class as he said this.
