When we woke up Eliza gave me a phone and I dialed my mom's number.

"Hello?"

"Hey mom."

"Maya! We've been so worried!"

"It's okay mom. I'm alive."

"Where are you?"

"I'm doing online school and I'm living with my girlfriend." I lied quickly.

"How old is she?"

"Twenty three."

"Fine. Bring her by for thanksgiving?"

"Definitely."

"Okay."

"Alright."

"Love you."

"You too. Bye."

"Bye." She said and we hung up.

"So you're my girlfriend and we're going to my mom's house for thanksgiving." I said to her.

"Okay."

"Put some clothes on and make me breakfast woman!"
I joked.

"You gonna distract me so I can burn the house down?"

"You distract me." I winked at her and she rolled her eyes with a smile.
She put on underwear and spandex shorts.
"You're killing me."

"Oops." She said and put on socks.

I walked to the closest and pulled out underwear and put them on. Then I grabbed a grey hoodie and was surprised at how soft it was.

"Thanks for the hoodie."

"What?" She turned to look at me and covered her mouth.
"You look so cute!"

"Did you purposely buy this to be gigantic?" I asked.

"It fits me better than it fits you! You look so tiny!"

"I'm not tiny!"

"But.. AWW!" She picked me up in a hug.

"Fine I'm adorable." I said and she kissed my cheek and set me down.
"Spin for me?" I asked and she turned around.

I got on my knees and thanked everyone for her ass.

"You alright back there."

"Your ass gives me asthma." I said. "I'd die happy if you sat on my face and suffocated me."

"Why are you so dirty all the time?"

"I'm being honest. You play volleyball?"

"Maybe." She said and stood me up.

"You're pretty."
She kissed me.

"You're pretty."
Why am I not trying to escape?
Well. It's not like I'm being held hostage anymore.
My mom knows where I am, I'm at the legal age to drop out, she's able to reason... I think I'm just in a relationship.
But what about... never mind... she probably doesn't even realize that I'm gone.
But you love her.
Maybe I was wrong.

"Can we go out and get more clothes for me?"

"Sure."

"Okay cool."
See? She's not crazy.
Let's not be so quick to judge.
"But like what if I wanted to go out by myself?"

"I mean I'd be sad if you left but you're free to. I'm not gonna hunt you down if you don't come back. It's just gonna hurt." She looked down and continued cooking.

Awh. I couldn't leave her.
I walked behind her and hugged her. I kissed her neck and collar bone.

"I can't leave you forever. I won't leave you forever."

"I just wanted to let you know that I'm not completely crazy."

"Yeah." I said and turned on the tv. My face was on it asking have you seen this girl?
"Hey eliza."

"What's up?" She looked up and saw the tv.
"Shit.. okay. You have to go home."

"What?"

"Go home and come back if you want to."

"Why can't I just stay?"

"All of this stuff really might let their imaginations run a little too free."
She kept going on about being arrested. I stood up and put my hands on her cheeks. I kissed her.

"Breathe. Look you just told me that I could leave when I wanted and come back if I wanted. You're not abusing me. You're not neglecting me. We're basically in a kinky relationship." I gestured around.

"But what if-"

"I'll talk to them." I said. "If it really worries you just hold my hand. I've gotten out of situations you wouldn't believe."

"Okay.." she said.

"Call the police."

"Okay.." she grabbed the burner and dialed 911. I have information of the whereabouts of Maya Walton." She gave them the address of the house and they hung up.
"They're coming."

I kissed her and walked to the room. I grabbed a pair of shorts and slid them on under the hoodie.

We waited until there was a loud banging on the door.

"OPEN UP!" The voice was gritty and eliza jumped.
I held out my hand and she took it.
We walked to the door and I opened it.

"Hi officer. What seems to be the problem?"

"Are you Maya Walton?"

"Yes. Is there a problem?"

"Ma'am. If you are being held captive blink twice." He whispered and I chuckled.

"Sir I don't know who called this in but they're being a little ridiculous. My girlfriend and I are just taking a little time for ourselves."

"Can you explain why you haven't made any contact with anyone?"

"I talked to my mom earlier."

"We're gonna need her name."

"Of course. Linda Walton."

"Ma'am." Eliza looked up. "How long have you know ms Walton?"

"I'm a few years older than her but she went to school with my little brother."

"Where can we find him?"

"You can't..." she said.

"What are you talking about?"
That kid was her brother...

"Erin sawyer." I started and noticed her get really upset. "Committed suicide two years ago."

"Oh.. my. I'm so sorry for bringing it up."

"It's still a sore subject." I said. "Sir it's obvious that I'm not in danger and I'm certainly not missing. Sorry for the wasted call but it's date night."

"My apologies. I'll be on my way."

"Have a nice day."

"Likewise." He said and walked away.
