She hugged me tightly and I hugged back.
"We need to talk." I said.
We let go and walked into her room. She closed the door and turned the music down.I sat on her bed and she sat across from me.
"Where have you been?"
"Why were you crying?"
"I asked a question first."
"I got kidnaped and developed Stockholm syndrome. Now you."
"I though you were dead."
"Joe saw me a few weeks ago."
"He was never here. And when he was he'd never talk to us. I tried to go with him but he'd always send me back."
"You were so worried that you cried?"
"I don't want to live in a world without you."
"Amber. Sweetie no." I said and saw the scars.
"It's the only thing that hurt worse." She said and looked down.
I saw the giant one down her forearm."You... you tried to.." I was getting sad and overwhelmed. "Amber.."
"I just wanted it to stop." She started crying.
"Promise me you'll never do this again."
She was silent.
"Amber. Promise me."
She nodded.
"Where are they?"She stood up and grabbed a box. She handed it to me.
"I'm sorry."
I pulled her into a hug."I'm not going anywhere else."
"What?"
"I belong here. I'm supposed to be with you. I'm in love with you."
"You don't mean that."
"I do."
"You're not serious."
"I am."
"Why would you want to be with me?"
"Not only have I known you for our entire lives. I know everything about you and you know everything about me. I find you to be extremely attractive. Every day I spend with you could be classified as a few of my best days. You know how to make me laugh. I know how to make you smile. We have a humongous mental connection. And you are the only girl I want. The only girl I need."
She hugged me and it was my turn to break down."I love you too." She said.
