Hey guys! Sorry for being inactive for awhile. I've been kind of lazy, kind of busy and also sick so I haven't had much of a motivation or a chance to write but I'm back now!

Sooo, for this one, it's the things that's happened with his black girlfriend and the next, I could write any other group of people that you guys would want me to.

The point of this book is to not only about how adorable Tom is but also to be more inclusive and more realistic toward the different types of people in our communities.

We must acknowledge the diversity to understand one another, there's no way around it. And I am more than happy to do so.

I hope you enjoy!!

When visiting your family, they always make the best meals to make sure you two eat well while you're home.

"Mrs. (Y/L/N), this is amazing." Tom says, shoving his mouth full of a mix of greens, mac and cheese and potato salad.

"I'm happy you like it, Tom." Your mom smiles. Everyone at the table exchanges looks, communicating a message between one another. Tom catches on.

"Sorry, I don't mean to eat so aggressively but, I gotta stock up on as much seasoned food as I can. The stereotype is quite true unfortunately." You and your family couldn't help but erupt in laughter.

Tom always asks questions about your hair products, in particular, the ones you use when you go to bed.

"Why do you wear this?" Tom says as he pokes at your bonnet.

"Boy, if you ask me that question one more time," You threaten as you lay in bed next to him.

"Sorry, I always forget." You sigh and face him.

"It protects my hair so it doesn't break off." He nods and stares at it.

"Go to sleep, weirdo." You smile and mutter to him as you reach over and turn off your bedside light.

Of course, there always has to be someone who doesn't approve of interracial relationships, so you receive hate.

"Look at this bullshit!" Tom yells as he slams his fist against the table. "This is the 21st century! Why are people still like this?"

"Why is the sky blue? It just is the way it is, okay? Things like this happen all the time. I would just stop getting worked up over it." You said as you leaned back in your chair.

The amount of hate you got on a daily basis due to your relationship was a steady stream, which has gotten you used to being called different names by people over the internet. Needless to say, it kind of desensitized you and Tom had yet to jump on the boat.

"That doesn't mean it's okay! I mean, these people are ruthless." He began to scroll through the abundance of hate. "Listen to this, @ torrison_bich says, '(Y/N) and Tom just don't match up. He needs a Brittney not a Starkeisha'. In what world is that okay to say?"

"It's not, Tom. You know that I, of all people, understand how wrong that is. But those are just words-- spewed from the mouths of unhappy, miserable people who have nothing better to do with their lives than to bash another human on the internet. By no means is this shit okay, but there's nothing we can do but keep loving each other. That is the only way to fight back."
