Chapter 10

"Hold on, your not at school?" Brandon busted Chloe, "mum asked you to be there early and your not even there after 1h of nagging," he growled as Chloe sat on the couch with Megan talking about making a proper music video for the song. "Megan's suspended, I don't want to go without her, Charlie can do a day without me." She explained, "actually.. Chloe, his not going to school anymore, Leo and him are leaving to work on their music career." Megan admitted, "Ik, Charlie told me, but he didn't say he was leaving today," she was confused, "maybe his just a liar," Bryce butted into the convo. He stared at Chloe weirdly, she blushed unexpectedly, "um, what's happening," Megan glared at Bryce, "go away," she threatened. "ok.." Bryce walked outside to play with Chloes siblings, "i dont know what just happened there but... never mind." Chloe sighed. "You like my brother!" Megan laughed, "wait.. Charlie?" she thought of his heart being crushed. "no, please don't.." she screamed. "Megan, his my boyfriend, not Bryce," Chloe explained unsure of her feelings, "yea, keep it that way." Megan watched Chloe leave to go outside. "Yay, some alone time," she thought, going into her room where Jet and Jess where having a staring contest. "don't go eating my bird will you," she grabbed the puppy by her collar and placed her on the ground. "Lets go for a walk," she grabbed a leash and harness, clipping a leash onto her puppy and placing a harness around the curious macaw, who was sitting in his cage. He perched on Megans shoulder while she walked outside. "Going somewhere?" Leo appeared from the bushes, making Megan just with surprise. "Oops," she realized Jet had fallen off her shoulder, Jess started barking at him. "NOOOO!" she picked up Jet before one of them got hurt. "you want me to walk her?" Leo offered, "no i'm fine," she insisted, "go get Yuki, our dogs can meet," she got excited. "But he might try and get the bird," Leo looked at the aggressive creature and thought again, "never mind." He laughed, "i think Jet will be the one to attack," she explained, Leo nodded. They got to Leos house, she waited for him to come back, she sat on the door step and placed Jet on the fence with the rope tied to it. Jess wagged her tail as she saw another puppy come out of the house. "Aw," they watched as the two played together, the 5 walked to the dog park where they where aloud to be off the lead. "So how have you been with all this family stuff, have you heard anything?" Leo asked worringly, "i haven't heard much, all i know is my mum wont be around for 4 years..." she looked anxious and sadly at Leo, he wrapped his arm around her, "i'm sure things will get better." He thought, "i doubt it, i think as soon as i'm 18 i will have to try and buy my own house and fend for myself," she concluded. Leo nodded, "i was thinking you might live with me, if BAM's new song is a hit, i could save up enough money for a rent house at least and you wont have to struggle, i'm positive we will stay together," he smiled. Megan looked speachlessly at her, "omg you do so much for me, what did i do to deserve you," she cried. "It feels good to help the loml," he cheered proudly, they got to the park and sat on a bench and continued talking. Yuki and Jess played together in front of them, "Your uncle hasn't been much help out of all this," he seemed frustrated, "his sort of a jerk, all he cares about is keeping my mum happy, if he really wanted to he would break her out," she sighed. "Wow.." he was horrified. They sat quietly for a minute, Megan looked around and enjoyed the fresh air and nature. The next minute she heard Leo yelling, that got her out of her dreamy mode, they looked down at the two puppies. Megan's mouth dropped at the sight, "NOO GET OFF YUKI!!" she grabbed her dog from underneath the older male pup. "Did our dogs just seriously have sex," Megan couldn't keep serious and started laughing, "shit.." Leo scold Yuki once more, the dog was trying to reach for Jess with desperation. "YOUR TOO YOUNG!" Megan yelled, people turned and looked at the two teenages with confusion, "maybe you should get them desexed," a lady suggested, they said nothing but they where very embarrassed. "I guess we should go home, i feel awkward now," Megans eyes where big with confusion. "Yea, my place?" he asked, "yea," they walked quickly to Leo's house, ignoring the people watching them. "They can't do it can they?" Leo asked curiously, "of coarse they can," Megan spat. "O," he kept quiet till they got to his house.

"Hey Bryce... wanna go get lunch?" Chloe asked suddenly, "sure," he seemed suspicious, "ok bye then," the kids waved. "Lets go get Macdonalds!" Bryce suggested, "yea, whatever,"  she acted bored to get his attention. They walked to maccas with a $50 note, "get what you want.. princess." He flirted, Chloe shook her head and ordered her food. She felt wrong to be doing this, "where is Charlie anyway?" She thought. "Who cares," Bryce spat, she just looked blankly at him, "what?" He glared at a person staring in the window. Chloe turned cautiously and looked, "OMG... CHARLIE, WHERE NOT-" she blurted, "your dating?!?!" He turned and said nothing, she could tell his heart was broken. "CHARLIE WAIT!!" She chased after him and left Bryce where he was. Charlie ran so fast that it was impossible for Chloe to catch up. He shut the door of his house and locked it, leaving Chloe helplessly out the front crying.
