She walked slowly towards the phone, peeking at the screen nosily, it was on a chat, she read the messages with interest, "who is this his talking to, it says best friend," she shook her head, "i'll find out soon i guess." She went outside and got out the bird gym she made, it had a mini weight lifting set and bars. "Jet, hurry up," she tried to grab the bird from her shoulder, nearly getting a playful but nasty bite, "don't bite me," she freaked. Jet landed onto a perch and sat there, studying the objects, Megan left him to do what he wants, "MEGAN!" she heard a call from her brother, "yes?" she almost crashed into him as he started running at her. "I'm going to someones house tomorrow, his my friend, for some reason he wanted you to come with me." He smirked cheekily, "yea sure... there better be food though," she laughed. "Duh, food is life," Bryce texted his friend to say she was coming, "this day has been so weird," Megan decided she would just hibernate in her room, "Megan you are going to school tomorrow," she heard her mothers nagging voice in her head, "uh please no.."
"Bryce, who is your best friend?" Megan kept asking on the way to school, "I'm not allowed to tell you, you will have to find out tonight, he isn't at school today so don't bother looking for him." He was annoyed, as soon as the car stopped her took off to find his mates, "bye then..." Megan got out the car, ignoring her mum, "it was only the first day, besides, I haven't even talked to people yet," she walked around the school and looked at the groups, "populars, goths, nerds, dumbasses, weirdos, shorties, giraffes whoops I mean tall people," she shook her head, "never mind," she walked to her first class, maths. After she started to do her work that was given to her at the table, she heard someone talking about her brother, "is it true that Leondre Devries is best friends with Bryce?" One girl by the name of Cassie gossiped to another girl Loren, "wait what?" Megan turned to them, "you know Bryce?" she asked, "duh," Cassie sassed, "don't bother trying to talk to him, his very popular, loners like you will never stand a chance," she explained stupidly, Megan just laughed. "Oh sure I won't, his not that good tbh, his an idiot," the girls glared at her in disgust, "I can't wait to meet his sister, he always said she is so pretty and nice," Loren smiled, "I know she is," Megan winked, "yea prettier then you," they spat, "what if I'm his sister," Megan explained, "you aren't, his sister is..." they realized what they where saying, "you have the same last name and- shit your uglier then I imagined," Cassie turned around stupidly and Loren just shook her head. "Thank you, weirdos," Megan thought in her head, feeling hurt and annoyed. She thought for a few seconds then she remembered she was meeting this 'mystery' best friend of Bryce's, she was screaming inside, he was so hot from his Instagram. "I hope those girls are right about him being Bryce's bestie," she hoped in her thought. "i'm being an idiot," she shook her head, "CAN I HAVE A NUGGET MATE?!" the popular came back to her, "no, piss off d- CHARLIE LENEHAN?" she handed the whole box stupidly, "thanks, are you Megan, Bryce told me all about you." Charlie grinned, "omg.. really," Megan blushed, "you lied to me," she laughed, "Leo is here isn't he," she smiled, Charlie silently nodded with a smirk. "Bryce didn't want you to know, he thought you might tell the world.." he explained, "i would never do that," she was offended. "I don't know why.." Charlie admitted, "can i hang out with you?" Megan asked hopefully, "sure," Charlie smiled, "thank you," Megan wanted to hug him but he walked away, "ok.." Megan followed him, Bryce and a few others where there, "wheres Leo," she asked, "who's Leo?" Bryce denied. Megan frowned, "never mind," she sat on the bench, eating her lunch, Charlie was eyeing her off, "you don't have to ask," she laughed, "i don't want a chip, i-i was just looking around, you caught my eye because your truly beautiful, just as Bryce told me," he flirted, "thanks," she smirked while blushing. "But dude, we are just friends, ok" she straight up friend-zoned him, "yea, i'm fine with that," he looked at Bryce who was glaring at them. "Ik.." Charlie worded to him.
the bell rang for the end of the day...
"Hey sweetheart, how was your day?" Megan got into her car, her mum was surprisingly cheerful today, "it was good, i got a few guy friends," she announced, "oh yea i let her into my group," Bryce explained, making sure he had credit. "Oh that's nice, i'm sure you guys will get along great, don't go doing anything naughty will you..." her mum turned serious, "mum i'm not like that," Megan snapped, Bryce grinned, "i don't think you will be so innocent in a year or so, maybe soon," he randomly stated, "BRYCE!" their mother scold. Megan went into her room to find something to wear, "oh Megan, try and find something nice, this guy is pretty special." Bryce suggested, "dude, i always dress nice," she assured him, he nodded truthfully. She got dressed into a black crop top and a flower skirt (photo below)

she walked into the bathroom to put on mascara, brown eye shadow, eyeliner and red lipstick, after she started to curl her hair. "Wow i look too good," she flicked her hair with pride, she walked out into the living room, "wow, you look pretty," Bryce smiled, "thanks bro," Megan grabbed her iphone and started listening to music. "Lets go," her brother lead her out the door, they walked quickly down the street, approaching a nice looking two story house, it had a beautiful garden around the pathway to the door.
