Yūri's family noticed some subtle changes with him. He seemed more cheerful than he was a week ago. It was only when his mother brought up the soul mate topic that the cat leapt out of the bag.

"Yup. I found my soul mate," he said shyly at the dinner table.

The dining room was silent for a moment before his sister and father asked him rapid fire questions.

"Hey you two, calm down. Let Yūri answer your questions one by one," his mother said in a stern but loving voice.

The young man thanked his mother before proceeding. He mentioned how he met his soul mate, that his soul mate is a guy, that Victor also happened to be very famous and is his idol.

He wasn't too worried about telling his parents that his soul mate is a guy; they were really accepting and Yūri was about to die anyway.

The day before Victor arrived, the Katsuki household was busy cleaning and decorating the house. They were also making sure Yūri was well prepared to meet Victor by buying him a decent suit to wear. He didn't really want the suit, but his parents insisted.

Yūri fantasized about his meeting with Victor. He pictured it being very emotional because he was about to die.
