Gabby, and Alison had left after I promised them multiple times that I would call as soon as I got my phone back. I was currently blow drying the remaining wet parts of my hair, and trying to put this off for as long as I could, but when my hair was completely dry, and I had grabbed a light jacket I realized it was time to go over to Clay's house how awkward. I grabbed my car keys, and wallet.

I pulled up to the house I was never supposed to return to, and put in my past, and just sat, and looked at it for a while. I noticed all the cups, and trash from this morning had been picked up, and there were still a couple of cars in the driveway. Shit! That means he's probably still here. Who am I kidding this is his house of course he was going to be here. I sighed, and turned my car off then got out of it, and slowly walked up the steps, and knocked on the door.

"Carli? Hey didn't expect you back so soon." Aaron answered the door with a smirk.

"Yeah, hey um I think I left my phone here." I said. He nodded his head in understanding.

"Yeah sure, but you're my cousin okay, and my girlfriend's name is Olivia, but you call her Liv got it?" He said leading me through the house for the second time that day.

"What?" I asked confused.

"You'll see, it's better if you just don't ask any questions, and go along with it." He whispered. I looked around the house, and unless you were here you wouldn't have known there was a party here last night. That's how clean it was. We were at the door, and he was about to open it when he turned towards me. "Okay now I need to know if you are good on what we just talked about, because if we're not I can't let you in here, so are you good?" He asked.

"Yeah we're good you're my cousin, and I call your girlfriend Liv." I recited. He smiled satisfied.

"Perfect." He said, then opened the door. He walked with me down the hallway, and I saw a woman standing there waiting for Aaron I'm assuming that's his girlfriend. When she saw us she came to us instead of us going to her.

"Honey who is this?" She whispered when she got close.

"This is the girl I told you about this morning." He whispered back. She looked at me, and smiled.

"So, you're the one who had him so happy this morning?" She asked. Wait he was happy? I shook that thought out of my head.

"I guess so." I replied. She just smiled.

"Nice to meet you Carli." She said.

"You too Olivia, whom I'm supposed to call Liv." I recited. She laughed then we all three started walking down the hallway together.

"He hasn't signed anything yet, waiting for you." Olivia whispered. Aaron nodded, and walked ahead of us. We finally got to the room, and it was different than it was this morning there was a big table, and Clay was sitting there along with a blonde, and a few other people who looked like lawyers.

"Sorry. I was in charge of the door, but I'm back." Aaron said going to sit down next to Clay who had his back towards me thank god. Then one of the men dressed in a suit started talking, and I didn't want to be nosey, so I tuned them out, and looked around the room.

"So I gotta know was he really that happy this morning?" I whispered I wasn't even sure Olivia had heard it.

"You have no idea how happy he actually was." She whispered back I barely heard it.

"So, then should I have stayed? Instead of treating it like a one night stand?" I asked.

"You can't change the past, but you're here now, ask me that again when Casey leaves." She replied. I was confused by that but ignored it.
