Chapter eleven

"uh..Jungkook?" I called him. he looked at me in the eye motioning me to continue.

"why.. are you suddenly so nice to me?"

He stared at me for a while before getting up from his seat, then he held my hand signaling me to get up.

I stood up and looked at him anticipating his answer. 

He wrapped his arms around me and hid his head in the crook of my neck. My breathing hitched  and my heart started beating rapidly.

"I'm sorry"

He said, which took me by surprise.

"Why are you apologizing?" I asked which almost sounded like a whisper and his breath on my neck didn't help my racing heart.

He suddenly unwrapped his arms from around me and left the house without a single word.

After what happened in the morning, I decided to go on a stroll in the city.

As I was walking, a big banner that was hung up caught my attention.

'CAKE EATING CONTEST'

Prize: $1000

A smile crept up my face as I hurridly went to the contest's location which was infront of the mall.

"One last contestant left and we'll begin who voulinteers?" The mc shouted.

I went through the big crowd of people and raised my hand as high as I can and shouted "me!".

"Okay then you're the last costentant"

I sat down infront of the big table that had six cakes. One for each contestant.

"On your march, get set, go!"

As the mc shot the gun in the air signalling us to begin. I started digging in.

I grabbed a handful of cake and put it in my mouth I then grabbed one more, two, three..

The crowd stared amazed as I finished the cake before everyone.

"And the winner is.." the mc looked me in the eye asking for my name, I whispered lee ji eun.

"Lee ji eun!"

I smiled at the crowd as they clapped, my face covered in cake making it look like I was a snowman.

The mc gave me the prize and then I left to clean myself.

I looked at the mirror disgusted at my current state. It was worth the try though. I really had fun because, who doesn't like cake?

After cleaning myself I left the bathroom. As I took a step a sudden tall figure stood infront of me.

"Oppa?! What are you doing here?"

My brother seokjin looked at me with a blank face and pulled out his phone from his pocket and showed me his screen.

I stared at the screen which had the article attached with photos of me all covered in cake. My eyes widened and suddenly I forgot how to breath
