The Girl with The Red Hood

Before the wolf can touch Red, the creature growled very loudly that it can reach miles and miles away. The wolf stop from its track and immediately back down.

The creature saw Red lying unconsciously on the ground. It move in front of her like its protecting her from danger then he growl again at the wolf. The wolf whimpered then ran away.

The creature turned to Red. She's very pale and wet. If she's gonna stay like this for a long time, she will get sick. Her hood got take off of her head, that's why her face is now revealed to the creature. It move more closely to Red, nuzzle his nose to its forehead like waking her up but Red didn't move.

The creature hadn't no other choice but to shift himself into a human form. After he transform, he gather his clothes and wear them. His attention turned to Red and lift her up. He also carry her basket with bread and milk inside. He hope that she will not wake up until he take her home. He doesn't wants her to see him. Just not now. Not yet.

I woke up from my deep slumber. Ouch! My head hurts. What happened? Did I died?

I open my eyes and roam it. I was in my room. My room?! I immediately sat up on my bed. I'm alive? How come? I thought I was going to be eaten by that wolf?

I remembered after I pass out, there's another strong growl coming from my behind. So I thought they had killed me.

My attention turn to the door when it opens and Grandma came inside with a glass of water and bread.

"How are you feeling, dear?" Grandma ask me and handed me the water. I take it and immediately drink it. I'm so thirsty I feel like I haven't drink water for a year.

"I'm alright Grandma. Thank you." I gave her back the glass. She put it on my side table and sit on the side of my bed and gently touch my face. Her eyes are watery.

"Where have you been last night? I was so worried about you. You were very pale and wet. Thanks to the man that brought you here last night. I manage to change your clothes quickly before you could get sick." Man? Someone had brought me home??

I tell her the whole story on what had happen to me yesterday. I also include the part where I met Zen. She was shock when I tell her about the wolf that were about to attack me but unfortunately I past out and I don't know if that wolf had given me scratches or someone had saved me.

"Grandma... this man who brought me home last night, does he have a bright blue eyes?" I know its impossible but I have high hopes that he is the one that save me last night.

"Now that you mention it, yes I had notice his eyes. It has a bright blue color like an ocean. Is it the man you'd met yesterday at the forest?" I can't help but to smile. It is him. He save me again the second time. I nodded my head as a response.

"Oh my! Am I seeing this? My dear Red is in love." My Grandma said ask she smile at me. I blush because of what she said.

"Grandma what are you talking about?" I said and I can't help but to bow down my head to hide my flushing face.

"If you could just see your face dear. Your eyes are glowing and you had a wide and gentle smile in your face when I agreed that the man who brought you here last night was the the man you met yesterday. Talk about destiny."

"No Grandma I'm just thankful that he is the one that saved me. Nothing more. I promise." I said as I look to her pleadingly to make her believe that it was nothing. But I know for myself that there is something.

"Oh don't deny it dear. Its alright to be in love, besides your an adult now. Its the right age to get married." Grandma still convincing me.

I heaved a deep sigh. "I don't know Grandma if this can be considered as love. The first time I saw him is that I can feel safety towards him. Its like he can protect me from any danger. And Grandma he is so gorgeous. I haven't met a guy like him in town before. Maybe he is not from here." I admit I was a bit confused of what I feel. Maybe I just admired him because he save me or its just a little crush. Oh! I don't know anymore!

"My Red is now a grown up woman. I'm so proud of you. Its okay if you'll find your own husband soon. I'm not getting any younger and you need to have your own family to be with when I'm gone. I don't want to leave you here alone. Come on dear, let me hug you." Grandma said as she hug me very tightly.

"Grandma don't say that. I don't care if your old now. What matter is your here with me and were spending our time together." I hug her also. I love my Grandma so much. I won't let anything happen to her.

The day passes just like a falling apple from a tree. We just spent our day talking about Zen in my room. I hope he hasn't tripped yet because we're talking about him.

Lunch came and we just continue our talking while eating in the dining area. She said that she is excited to meet Zen. I'm not even sure if I will see him again.

I'm now lying on my bed but I can't sleep. I'm still thinking about Zen. What if I can never see him again? I haven't even thanked him personally. Am I able to see those bright blue eyes again? I don't know but those thoughts are making me sad and gloomy. Sigh.

I should get to sleep now. As I dozed off, Zen's face suddenly appear in my mind with his bright blue eyes looking at me. Even in my dreams he still there.
