"i'm sorry for coming." i said to jungkook, "i can find another witch, surely they'll be someone just as powerful as seokjin."
"you won't."
"what?" i looked at the younger, confused about what he just said.
"you won't find anyone as powerful as seokjin. believe me, i know. seokjin can do things even some of the most experienced witches can't and they've been practicing for their whole lives."
"like what?"
"just... things..." jungkook looked slightly uncomfortable because of my question.

"i'll just find another witch. they don't have to be as powerful as seokjin, just powerful enough for the job."
"but... you said there's over twenty ghosts? i just want you to be safe so... seokjin normally closes up the shop at seven and gets back to his apartment around fifteen minutes after that. i suggest you go at eight. his address is," jungkook recited his employer's address and handed me the spare keycard seokjin had given him that would let me into the building while i stared at him in shock and confusion.
"go and do what?"
"convince him to help you."

"i can't do that! he already said no!"
"just do it namjoon! i just want you to be safe and if you go to his apartment building he'll see how desperate you are and since he's actually a really kind person he'll be bound to help you!"
"i don't know... i just... i don't want to be invading his privacy. it'd be creepy if i just showed up the day i met him."
"namjoon," jungkook looked me straight in the eyes with a very serious expression on his face, "just do it. for me, please. i just want you to be safe and i know seokjin will be able to keep you that way."

i took a deep breath before replying, "fine." jungkook's face lit up in a grin. "thank you! now," he checked the time on his phone, "you still have around an hour and thirty minutes left and since i have to work you just stay back here until seokjin comes to remove the remedy and then you can wait until eight and then carry out the plan." jungkook waved goodbye before leaving the room.

i sat in the room, playing games on my phone and listening to music, until seokjin came to tell me the time was up. he had poked his head in every once in a while to check on me but this time he actually came in. "time's up." he said as he walked over to me. "up you get, the sink's in the bathroom."

he led me into the bathroom only to leave and come back with a chair. "sit here, lean your head back into the sink and close your eyes. it should only take a few minutes to get out." seokjin said, his voice had a cold edge to it. i did was he asked and nearly straight away he turned on the tap and started massaging the remedy out of my hair. there was a stiff silence as he did so, i guess he was still in a bad mood from before. it made me feel bad that i was even going to go over to his apartment later and harassing him about it again.

once he was done rinsing the remedy out, he lifted my head out of the basin and handed me a towel.
"don't be too shocked when you look in the mirror. it's quite a different look to what you had earlier." seokjin said before exiting the bathroom. i turned to the mirror and nearly fell off the chair as i saw myself. he was right, the remedy does give you grey hair and in my opinion, i looked pretty damn good.

i walked out of the bathroom and into the main part of the shop. jungkook was behind the counter and saw me as soon as i came in.
"damn... you look good! you go namjoon! you get all those dicks!"
"shut the fuck up jungcock." i playfully kicked in my friend's direction but i was happy with the compliment.

"so, do i pay here?"
"you don't pay." i turned to see seokjin stocking something on the shelves behind me. "i'm sure jungkook will be happy to pay for your treatment."
"excuse me-" jungkook shut up with one stern look from his elder. "sure i will."
"anyways, it was nice meeting you namjoon." seokjin said, leaving the room and going back to what i guess was the store room.

as i was going to leave jungkook whisper shouted, "don't forget our plan! eight o'clock!"
"yeah yeah. bye." i waved goodbye and walked out of the shop. i had hours to waste while i waited for the right time to go visit seokjin and no idea what to do.
