It was another day after work for Queenie and Tina. They had now gotton to their apartment and were settling down. Or at least Tina was. As Tina sat comfortably in her chair reading, Queenie was primping in front of her mirror. Tina had begun to be suspicious of Queenie's behavior long ago. After they wiped Jacob's memory, Queenie was placid for days, then, one day, she came home late. But she wasn't sad, in fact she was bursting with happiness. Tina was very suspicious, ut as long as Queenie was happy, it was fine. Lately she had been going out alot after work and coming home and being silently happy. And tonight she seemed like she was preparing for something special. Tina watched as Queenie fluffed up her hair and put on a long necklace that she slipped down her dress. Queenie then noticed her sisters constant stares.
"Were are you going tonight?" Tina slowley questioned.
"Oh, just a walk!" Queenie giggled. Reading her sisters mind and seeing her distrust she added "You're welcome to come along." Queenie knew that Tina wouldn't follow her. "Well, I'll see you later!" Queenie said walking out the door with a spring to her step. Tina watched her leave with one eyebrow raised. Then she sighed and went back to her book.
