After Jacob's proposal, he and Queenie sat down on Jacobs couch as they began to ponder their next moves. Queenie turned to Jacob as she held her new ring and said,
"Honey, I can't wear this in public, people would know and you could get hurt." Queenie said, concered.
"Well that's what the necklace is for" Jacob said taking the necklace. He slid the ring onto the chain the put it around Queenie's neck. "If the bottom of the chain is hidden, no one can see the bottom were the ring is."
"You're so clever!" Queenie gushed. She was so overjoyed at the fact that she would be secretly married to Jacob. After more wonderful minutes together, Queenie realized that it was almost 6:00pm and Tina might come looking, so they reluctantly separted with promises of tomorrow and what each new day would bring.
