They were coming for us.
Men in what seemed to be dressed in military uniforms were chasing frantically after us. Pistols and shotguns in their arms. It was dark. Explosions and screams was all there was in the humid air. Circular spaceships had landed earlier releasing onto the Earth's grounds what looked like us, humans.
Except the earlier news had told me otherwise. They were not humans. My parents had told me to stay indoors because it was dangerous out but I did not obey. I was too curious and stubborn to listen. That was when I saw it, I saw him, I saw one of them.
He had curly locks and small green eyes. He was frightening and running from the men. I had to help him, I knew I had to.
He made his way towards me and shaking, he asked me, "Help me, please." There were tears falling from those delicate eyes and I felt my eyes moisten too as I nodded.
I brought him to a nearby shed but immediately regretted my decision. The men broke the door and robotic voice said to the two of us, "Renesmee, step away from the boy." They knew my name, how? The familiar name and voice should have made me budge but I didn't. I knew I couldn't hand the boy over to these men. What did they want from him?
We were holding to each other's hands tightly and he was sweating while crying even hard. The men cautiously made their way toward us pointing their guns at the poor boy.
The next second, there's at least a dozen of them trying to pull me apart from the boy. My hysterical crying now was uncontrollable. The men had split us apart from one another violently at last and after that, I could not make out clearly what they had done. I heard a gun shot and a blue light toward the boy's direction. That was it. That was when I had lost him.
