Renesmee's POV

I cannot believe what I lay my eyes on. Sitting at the center table is Harry Styles. The face of his head was facing me but I was confident that it was him. I retreated back into the kitchen but failed when Kelsey called me.

"Renesmee! Get the order from the center table!"

Involuntarily, I brought my right hand to the area around my right eyebrow in embarrassment. Well I wasn't really embarrassed but the fact that Harry was eating at my family's restaurant out of all the other ones in town was a bit awkward for me.

When I finally turned back around to make my way to Harry's table, his eyes were already locked on me. Shit. Why did he always do that?

"Hey," I said quietly with a small wave and fake smile when I get to Harry.

"You work?" He asks immediately and I can tell that he's trying to hide his laughter.

"Yes, now what can I get you?" I roll my eyes.

He orders a burger and fries like any typical teenager does.

"I actually have to talk to you," He adds.

"About what?"

"Um, I can't tell you here. When are you free?" His thick voice is captivating.

"I-I don't want to talk to you Harry, plus I'm working right now,"

"Why? Please Renesmee, it's important," he says and his tone catches my attention. I can't put my finger on what is is that makes me not want to have this talk with Harry. Whenever I talk to him, he makes me feel so uncomfortable in both a good and bad way. What can he possibly want to talk to me about anyway?

"No Harry, I-" When I turn my head I spot Kelsey and Camila both staring attentively at me. Damn it, they were looking at us the entire time.

"Fine, when you're done eating, meet me at the lot next to here," I mutter and make my way to the kitchen again. As soon as I get there and give the chef the order, Kelsey storms into the kitchen.

"Is that your boyfriend or something? You know you're not supposed to date. Boys are trouble and you're too young," she rambles.

"He's not my boyfriend Kelsey,"

"Good, why were you guys talking for so long anyway?" she asks picking on her well painted nails.

"He just wanted to ask about something from school that's all," I told her.

"Oh, well clean up the rest of the dishes and see if anyone needs anything out there, I'm going home first today with Camila. Close up at 8 and don't go anywhere," she tells and then leaves before I can say anything back.

When it's time to give Harry what he ordered, I also inform him that I won't be able to meet him today. He looks upset and I tell him that I will meet with him tomorrow before school at the green house there. It's a compromise because I can't risk leaving the restaurant. Kelsey will freak if she finds out.

Harry's POV

I get to the green house extra early to make sure that I don't miss Renesmee.

"Hey," I say when she walks in.

"Hey so what did you need to talk to me about?" She moves and sits down on the bench.

"Well, uh-" I look down at the floor unsure how to tell her. You don't just don't bring up something from more than a decade ago.

She moves all her hair to one side of her shoulder and that's when I see it.

"Yeah?" The sun's gleaming on her and she looks simply alluring.

"That, where'd you get that?" I ask sitting down next to her on the bench. The necklace that she was wearing, I lost it on the day I was taken. It was my mother's.

"Oh, this? Um-"

"How do you have it? I thought I lost it-"

"You?" I notice that she realizes what's happening and her eyes widen.

"You're that little boy aren't you!" She exclaims.

I press my lips into a thin line unsure what to say.

I finally decide to open my mouth, "It was my mothers. She gave it to me and told me to give it to someone I love, I thought I lost it."

She struggles and takes the necklace off her neck where it had belonged perfectly. Renesmee hands the necklace to me and drops it in my palm.

"Here have it, give it to that someone you love. I can't believe you're here... I thought you... I swear I saw them take you away," she says softly with a soothing smile.

"No, I didn't die. It's been tough but I'm alive."

"That's great! I can't believe... wow... I wasn't sure of that night. It seemed like such a dream but now I see it. I should've known it was you. Those eyes and the hair. "

"Yeah, it's me. Renesmee, you helped me that night." I say to her.

"I was six that time, I barely even did much."

"No, you were generous and I was so different from you but you still helped me,"

"What happened? What happened after they took you? I saw the blue light that they shot at you and I swore you were dead," she says to me and I can hear the little bit of sadness in her voice.

"They took me away, they brought me to an institute... I was used as an experiment for many things..." I try my best not to look her in the eye.

I can tell that she feels bad for me and it pains me to know that since she has such a kind heart.

"It's okay now, I've always wanted to find you though. In the institute and in Alecia, wherever the people brought me, I thought of you. I thought of what you were doing or where you might have been. I knew I had to find you and even through all that torture, I knew I had to survive it and hold on because I had to see you," I reveal to her and I can tell that she's trying her best to control all the emotions she's feeling at this moment.

"No Harry, there's countless good people out there. I was just there that time when we were younger, I didn't even know what I was doing..."

"You were nice to me, you trusted me, and you made me feel warm when everyone else was after me. That means something to me."

The school bell rings and I wish so hard that it wouldn't have.

"Sorry- I can't, I have to go," Renesmee runs her hand through her hair and walks quickly out of the green house leaving me sitting like an idiot all alone.
