(song I listened to for this chapter was Endlessly by The Cab)
A car drives by at full speed and I realize that Harry had just saved my life. I would've gotten run over if it wasn't for him. I pull myself away from him quickly.
"Um thanks," I stare at the ground and run over to my parked car. As I pull out of the parking lot and drive off, I feel my shoulders lowering from relief. Everything happened way too fast and I needed to get way from Harry. Why had his embrace seem so familiar to me? It hurt my head to think about it.

It's Thursday but something's different when I arrive at Wuthering High. Everyone is led to the auditorium as we are told that there's going to be an important announcement. I find Nicole and Liam as we get ourselves seats. Sitting in chairs on stage are the six of them. Harry's in one of them and the other five are filled with the other five people who he was sitting at lunch with the previous day.
After everyone is done filing into the auditorium, the principal taps on the microphone to silence us. "Good morning everyone, I have gathered all of you here to introduce these six students who will be finishing senior year with us here at Wuthering Heights. They're different, as you may as seen on the news recently, they're the different species," He says sternly.
The news recently has been all talk about how aliens and a different race has arrived on Earth. There has been protests and fights throughout the city on how parents did not want them to be going to the same school as us. It's about time something like this happened to Wuthering. Nothing ever happens here and the news does not surprise me.
"Treat them kindly, they're just like the rest of you. They're going to be learning just like the rest of you at this school. We're going to learn from each other. If I should hear of any confusion or disrespect towards these six, you will find yourself in a great deal of trouble. Now you may be dismissed if you understand, thank you," He says.
Harry is no where to be found after the announcement and he does not show up at class either.
"What freaking weirdos, they're not even human. My dad has been ranting about this crap all week. They chose our school out of all the others to send them here?" Liam scoffs.
"Isn't it some experiment or something? All over the news it's saying how they're going to learn the way we live and we'll learn the way they live. It's absurd, but at least the Harry guy is hot," she laughs.

Throughout the next day, I find myself anticipating English class. I want to see Harry again and thank him properly, but when it is time for class, he doesn't show. I stare at his empty desk a couple of times. This English class seems to last even longer than the day before's.
When I get to lunch, I spot Harry. He's sitting at his table. That means that he cut English class. Why did he cut? Was it possibly because of me? The thoughts bring a knot to my chest. I don't know him well at all but oddly, it hurts me that he would want to avoid me. I catch him glimpsing at me but he looks away quickly. I lose my appetite and my thoughts disperse as my friends arrive at our table.
"Nes, you feeling alright?" Nicole asks and when I don't respond, she figures out that I'm looking at Harry.
"No way, do you like that Harry guy?" Liam and his friend Dan who is also on the football team starts to laugh.
"It's not like that Liam shut up," I tell him as I make my way to the parking lot for some air.
I catch myself wishing that like the first day I laid my eyes on Harry that he would have followed me out here again. I needed to talk to him. I take out my phone and text my mom telling here that I might come home later today since I needed to go shopping with Nicole after school today. When I turn around to go back to the cafeteria, Harry stops me.
His broad figure towers over me and I step back.
"Um, hey-" I fake a tiny smile at him as I walk around him to get to the door.
He leans and shuts it just as I am about to open it. Harry grabs my arm and leads me behind a school bus.
"Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you," he tells me as he lets go of my wrist. I'm perfectly aware that he won't even though I should be afraid.
The both of us stand there avoiding each others eyes for what seems like eternity before I finally bring one hand to tug on my hair and say, "Why do you always do that?"
"What?"
"Do that staring thing, it's so strange,"
"I don't stare,"
"Yes you do. Did I like do something to you?" I ask softly still avoiding contact with his eyes.
"No, you didn't do anything to me. I just-" he begins to say but doesn't finish.
"Whatever, I don't need to know then if it's that hard to tell me. You really hate me don't you,"
"No, no I don't. Aren't you afraid of me?" He asks.
"Why would I be?"
"I mean, I'm different,"
"Yeah you are, but should I be afraid?"
"No, you shouldn't,"
When I look down at the floor, I notice a scar. A scar on Harry's forearm. The wound must've been deep because the scar was fully visible.
"When'd you get that?" I ask without thinking.
The words fall from Harry's lips and makes me wish that he wouldn't have ever said it.
"The day I met you."
