My body trembled, as heat immediately licked at my skin. All of this, all of what happened. It's all because of her. I stared at Ophelia, with the urge to burn her alive. It was only fitting for such a witch to burn at the stake. "Oh sister, I think you've angered her." Odette giggled with too much mirth. "Truly. I think you've awaken the beast." Odilia, chimed. I felt the dark pulse run through my body. My bones rattled beneath my skin. "Destiny, you need to calm down." Through clogged ears, I registered Jason's voice. In some ways I knew he was right, but once my anger was released, there was no way to stop it. I felt a hand grip mines. Pleasurable tingles shot up my arm. I snapped my head towards the source. Standing tall, looking like the true alpha he is, Jake glared at the three witches. His body not being affected by the heat of my own, instead it fed my flames, yet at the same time, put me back in control.

The three sisters smiled, at us. "Cute. But I think it's time to go Destiny, Your true mate waits for you." Ophelia sneered. The demon inside me perked up. I felt my bones shift beneath my skin. The calm that Jake was giving me, now forgotten. My demon roared inside me, demanding to be unleashed. It was different from the other times. My body was burning from the inside out, my mind going dark, and not registering where and who I am. The hand that was holding my own, completely forgotten, along with the people standing just behind me. I shook my head trying to clear my jumbled thoughts. "Something, something is happening to me." I told the person next to me. I knew this person was important, yet my mind kept coming up blank.

"Oh. I see the Enchantment is working." My gaze landed on the female in the middle. Kill. My mind whispered. I needed to kill her, her and the other two females. "What enchantment?" Voices, both behind me and the one next to me demanded. "Oh, the one that releases her darkest self. Giving the queen the little boost she needed in order to lose control. She'll feel nothing, know nothing, be nothing, but the vessel, she truly is."

No, I can't lose control. I lose control, and I die. I become nothing but another broken queen. The words ran through my mind without me truly understanding. Something else was taking over my body. I heard whimpers in the back of my mind. Trap. This is what I felt. "Destiny." The body next to my own gripped my own, I felt hands on my cheeks. My gaze locked to beautiful eyes. The beast inside me, seemed to register who the male was. I felt pressure on my chest, a harsh heaviness making it hard to breathe. "I need you to focus baby. I need you to come back to me." I didn't understand. Come back to what. What did this male want from me? My gaze moved around his face. The darkness taking me hold seem to fade, recognizing this male. He was important. Important to me, important to the whimpers in the back of my mind, and important, even just a little, to the darkness roaring inside of me. "I need you to look at me and come back to me, my beautiful mate." I recognized the desperation in his voice. I followed that voice. And the world became a little clearer. My muddled mind finally registered the boy that is my mate.

"Jake?" I questioned.

"I think that's enough of that. Destiny, my mate. Come to me." The voice of another male triggered something in me once more. My brain once again muddle and the darkness once again taking over. I moved away from the hands that clutched my face, with speed that I knew always lied dormant. In seconds I was in the arms of another. The darkness inside me took over, as soon as my skin touched his. "Mine." I growled. This is my mate. He was mines. The deep roar that rang through the forest shook the ground. I turned my head to the source, my eyes surly empty. A large dark wolf leaping forward, along with eight others. They wished to hurt what was mines. Without even touching the earth, a line of flames crossed between the wolves, and my mate and I. Rising higher and higher. I heard whimpers of pain from the other side. I smiled at the sound. "Very good, Destiny." I purred at the praise. A deep gurgling sound. "Well then it seems that the flames didn't stop all of them. I always knew there was a reason I liked that alpha." One of the females said. The darkness inside of my body itched to slice her throat. That one, we truly did not like. My gaze turned to the flamed wall. Walking through it, was the pitch black wolf. His body also up in flames. He looked larger, aggressive. This pleased the beast inside of me. The darkness loved what she saw.
