His alarm clock rang at exactly 7 am, marking the beginning of another boring day of the hated work that Josh could not stand. He reluctantly opened his sleepy eyes and trudged into the bathroom. Five minutes under icy-cold shower and his thoughts slowly returned to normal. He looked in the mirror and after seeing his reflection, discontentedly snorted: boring hairstyle, tired brown eyes with dark circles and bags under them – the aftermath of the lack of sleep, unchanging mark on the nose from the piercing, which he took off a few years ago. Josh brushed his teeth and went out of the bathroom to make the breakfast. He didn't like to listen to the radio in the mornings, because he worked there and hated the voice of the host, who was the total jerk. But there were days like today, when he suddenly got tired of the loneliness, and without even noticing it, he reached out for the power button.
- Good morning, Columbus! – shouted the hateful voice. Josh winced involuntarily and continued to break the eggs into the pan to make the scrambled eggs. - You know what day it is, a celebration for all who love and everyone who is loved. Have you already congratulated your soulmates on Valentine's Day? You know...
Josh didn't hear the remaining words, his heart started to beat extremely fast, like it strived to jump out of his chest. He groped the chair behind him and sat on the hard wooden chair seat, he couldn't calm down, his eyes were filled with tears. In the never-ending stream of hateful days at work, he forgot about the thing which was so important to him. Three years ago he lost his best friend. Already three years Josh has to live without the most important person after family. Three years ago Tyler died.
