David looked up as the car screeched to a halt and swiped a poll. The driver clamored out of the vehicle before the police arrived and ensured the pedestrians were alright. David breathed deeply as he began walking back home down the sidewalk and to the side of his building, avoiding the other people there as he climbed up the fire escape to the fifth story and slipped inside his unlocked window. He grabbed a saucer and filled it with milk for the neighborhood cat and carefully placed it outside. Lilia flew up to the window and enters before he closes it. She looks around before kanding on her feet, making the wooden floor crack slightly. The walls were covered in flowery wallpaper and paintings. Lilia sighed and looked over at David. "How can such a loving human being get so much bad luck?"

David walked around the apartment and flipped the switches to find his lights had blown a fuse while he was away. He could tell because the light bulb in his bathroom was broken again which happened every time the lights did blow out. He sighed and walked to the door to grab his mail to see another set of late bills and struggled to read each one, calculating his debt in his mind. Tossing the open letters onto the dining table and tugging at strands of his hair, David paced his room and thought of how many more hours he'd have to work that week. He had finished his schooling but not college since he'd ran away with a girl to start a band before waking himself out of his dream and going home to his dying mother. He'd been stuck in the same job since she'd died and still had to send money to the institution for his brother. At least that bill was paid, but they just kept raising the price there every few months and now it wasn't making sense. He let out a defeated sigh before sobbing. As he walked in circles over and over again as more tears spilled, Lilia walked around while looking up at the lightbulbs. She makes some new bulbs appear in her arms before she snapped her fingers to change them all. She smiles and flicked the levers to drag his attention. Lilia opens a lower cabinet to find some tissues and places them on the edge of the sink.

David looked up to the lights and wiped his eyes on his sleeve before mindlessly accepting the tissues on the counter to wipe his nose. "At least one thing is working today." David smiled weakly before sweeping up the glass in the bathroom from one of the light bulbs on his mirror. He throws it away before turning to the cat on his window sill. "Hello MacGyver, I see you've made it today." Lilia blushes slightly and looks at the cat, the cat looks pass David right into her eyes. They were right, cats could sense strange activities like spirits and angels. She gives a smile smile as she tilts her head, and so does the small creature. David noticed MacGyver's attention was elsewhere and followed his gaze to the corner. "What can you see that I can't?" "It's me!" Lilia giggled before sighing, forgetting he couldn't see her. "Man, you're great." She walks up to him and rests her head against his shoulder. MacGyver was rubbing his back on David's slender hand before turning to run inside David's tiny apartment. "You won't find anything in there for you MacGyver but make yourself at home." David swung his legs over the window sill and looked to the street past the sidewalk. "I wish you could talk to me MacGyver."

"I wish I could talk to you, David." Lilia whispers before wrapping her arms around his torso, afraid he might fall. Her sking almost tirned white now the sun was shining upon her. She held him tightly and pulled him back as he wanted to move forward to look down at the street. "Let's go inside," Lilia tapped his shoulder before walking back into his appartement to find his bedroom. Clothes shattered across the floor as a ray of sunlight shines onto the bed, making the small pecks of dust appear to be flying around in the air. She walks over to the bed and sits down. "So this is like his cloud.. What a mess." David climbs down from the window sill and walks around to land on his bed, face first before rolling onto his back and sitting up. "MacGyver, you wouldn't by any chance know someone who might want these clothes would you? I won't be needing them soon enough. I might just give all my possessions that I care about away and sell the rest." Lilia looks up at him and crawls over to hug him from behind, sending comforting heath through him. "Don't do that, that would be a bad decision." "Or maybe not but tell me if you know anyone that needs a guitar. I'd be glad to give it to them." David sighed and placed his elbows upon his knees before holding his head in his hands. "Gosh, it's a real mess in here."

Lilia lets go of him to stand up and flick the lights off and on before walking over to the window and pushing it upwards, seeing how the curtains get pushed back in the room by the cold wind. She looks out of the window to see some children play in the snow, one of them lays down and starts to move his legs and arms. He stands up and dusts himself off before pointing down at the ground. "Look Johnny! A snow angel!"
