"What's with these lights lately?" He shrugged, not caring really before kneeling down and picking up the clothes, accidentally opening a songbook. "How did this get pulled out?" He slaps it shut before shoving it under the bed. Lilia chuckled as she looked over her shoulder at him. She knelt down to look under the bed as dhe reached under it to pull the songbook back from underneath it. Lilia quickly scans through it before look in up at him and leaning her back against the bedside. "A guitar? Is he a musician?" She pushes the book back under the bed before getting up and snapping her fingers to teleport to where the guitar was. Lilia couched and looked around the small room she was in, apperantly she was in a closet. . She looked down to pick up the brown acoustic guitar, as soon as she glided her fingers down the strings, one sprung lose. "No, no no no no!" As she tries to knot the plastic stings together another snaps. Lilia quickly sets it down and sighs. "He is going to be so upset now..how can I fix this?"

David's ears perked at the sound of the metal strings popping, echoing the noise inside of itself. "Speak of the devil," he said to himself. David opened the small closet beside his bathroom door and pulled it out before sitting on the bed, laying it across his lap. "Been a while but let's see if I can get it back in shape." David pulled the strings slowly and brought it back to twist slowly and plucked a sour note from each, making MacGyver jump. "Hey, I can't help it. It's out of tune." Lilia looks down to see a scratch-ticket in the corner, still untouched. She smirked and juggled it, making it light up for a moment, making it luckier. She climbs out of the closet and rushes back to David's room to fly out of the window and letting the carton go, making it fall back through his window onto the sheets, as if it was just a lost ticket someone lost. David continued to play with the strings of the guitar until satisfied. He hummed each note accordingly and the guitar met his tune. "At least it works again. Care to hear something MacGyver?" He was strumming as the cat jumped onto the window behind him. Only then did David see the ticket and chuckled as he picked it up. He took a piece of change off the nightstand and scratched at the surface to find the lucky symbols for a small cash prize. "Well thank heavens, MacGyver. I've won!"

Lilia sat down on the window sill next to MacGyver and petted his head. Slightly blushing as she looks at him, first time seeing him happy on her first day of work. "Congratulations Mr.Jones." she giggled and smiled. "What should I do with it? Should I buy groceries or pay part of my rent? Maybe I should split it! I get paid in a few days so that can hopefully cover rent if I maybe work the night shift too." He carefully held the ticket as he stared at it before looking around for his coat. "Tell you what, MacGyver. I'll buy a tin of fish for you at the shop." She sighs and let's herself fall backwards into the snow, creating a snow angel with her wings. Lilia laughs softly and gets up again, feeling and hearing the thick snow crack underneath her. David ran down the fire escape and left the window cracked for MacGyver if he wanted to leave before David could get back and he ran as fast as he could to the nearest shop. As he ran, his eyes watered and he didn't care that it was only so little but he was just happy to have caught a break. His foot slid on a patch of ice on the sidewalk and he grabbed the rail on the corner, practically slingshotting him into the store.

Lilia snapped her fingers to stand next to David while looking up at him. The cashier looked up at David. "Goodmorning Sir, What can I do for you today?" "Hi, I've come to cash in my scratch off." David took it out of his pocket and proudly showed it off, smiling brighter than a child. "Well aren't you a ray of sunshine today?" The lady winked and took the ticket with a slight chuckle. She checked it before putting it down and grabbing the cash. She placed it on the counter before smiling at him. "There you go, congratulations." "Thank you," David said politely as he carefully folded the pound notes and placed them in his wallet. He tucked it safely away in his shirt pocket. "Have a nice day, miss." He almost walked out when he saw the small tin of fish on the shelf by the door and grabbed one, placing it on the counter. "Forgot about the cat." "We can't forget about the cat!" She giggles and scans the can. "That will be £1.50, Sunday sale." "That's lovely." David smiled warmly as he pulled out his wallet and handed her £2.00. She gives him back his change before sitting back down in her stool. Lilia smiled and followed David out of the shop until he stops.
